This Cabernet Sauvignon mixed twelve pack includes 4 bottles each of three wines made for US export where Cabernet (not shiraz) is King:

Pertaringa Lakeside SA Cabernet Sauvignon 2019
92 points, Christina Pickard, Wine Enthusiast Magazine
"This rose-colored South Aussie Cab delivers in a big way. It opens with bright, lucid aromas of red berry, baking spice, tree bark and flowers. The tannins are well-integrated, soft yet present, gently tugging on the fruit, which gets a lift from the crunchy acidity. It's a modern, medium-weight Aussie Cab that should be a weeknight staple."

Time Flies When You're Having Fun SA Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
90 points Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot
90 points, Wine Enthusiast Magazine
"This South Aussie Cabernet is full of upfront flavours. Designed for drinking now, it will surely roll on for quite a few more years, if anyone wants to put some away. Dark magenta in colour, there are earthy notes, bay leaves, cloves, dark berries and a hint of tar. Definitely has that 2020 vintage burliness and strength illustrated by a firm palate, solid tannins and serious grip. A mid-length wine with good concentration and power, it will drink well now and for six years, and is ideal for your next big barbecue."

"A succulent, juicy fruited Cab with oodles of cherry and plum fruit, backed by savory spice, tobacco and mint. Medium-bodied, the focus on the palate is again on the fresh primary fruit. It’s tugged gently by spicy tannins, and a peppery note lingers on the finish. Easy, everyday drinking, particularly by Cabernet
standards."

The Best of Both Worlds SA Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
90 points, Ken Gargett, Wine Pilot
"A South Australian blend of the always popular Cabernet, this is cracking value. Dark garnet, this is bright and fresh, yet with depth. Notes of raspberries, spices, tobacco leaves, darker fruits and milk chocolate with a supple texture and fine tannins. Ideal for drinking at any stage over the next three to four years. Sometimes I think the colourful fun labels do the wine inside a disservice. People tend to think that the wine can’t really be serious, can’t be any good. This series swiftly disproves that theory."

ah ha @Almost Banned - could well be right. I am 52, so maybe it demonstrates my age! :-))

      • You're also a Yorkshireman - which explains a lot!

        • Haha. Yes. Probably also explains my love of Cabernet - Claret - another old bloke expression :-))

Just to throw my 2c in here, I've bought a few dozen bottles of wine through these deals now, and while I've been very impressed 99% of the time and will continue to buy, the handful of bottles I've received of the 2019 Pertaringa Cab Sav offered here have not been very good… YMMV.

@diamondd Thanks for the 2c. I think what we all have to remember is that wine is a very subjective thing. What you might not like others do. It's not that a wine, therefore, is "not very good" it's just not to your taste. What you don't like, others do.
Do I like that specific wine? Like you, no. But heaps of others do, indeed, I had someone ask for a deal on it again on a recent post.
      Cheers! RD :-)
