Hoyts $10 Weekend 2D Tickets for Hoyts Reward Members

151

Dear all,

This is not my first post so be as harsh as possible.

I got this in the mail, basically $10 tickets to watch any 2D films and Finding Nemo in 3D for this weekend, beats having to fight the crowds on thrifty tuesday, though the weekend may not be much better, but hey, its different?

Also please note this is for 2D movies only (bar Finding Nemo), not that i mind, i still think 3D is a gimmick and hurts my head.

  • Noticed on my trip back to Canberra last weekend that Hoyts Belco had $9.50 tickets most of the week, except for the peak periods, and is actually even cheaper at 6.50 on Tuesdays.

  • Thanks. Just joined HR after contemplating for a long time…..
I tried booking a ticket, but there are no $10 options …

  • Good for post 5pm sessions I guess. Before 5pm tickets are $9.50 for me.

    • Ditto. Either of the Canberra cinemas.

The above is still good for later sessions but.

Plus just for asking to be harsh. Dont use Hoytts

  • A + from me too. I like your write up. And it's a pretty good deal.

Don't mind these people from states who get movies cheap as chips. For us Victorians (and i'd imagine NSW) adult tickets are about $16.5, so pretty good deal. Thanks.

    • $18.50 in my local Hoyts

    • Yeah 18.50 is the standard price for a 2D film at most Hoyts in Victoria. Price goes up to 21.50 for 3D!

      • Ouch. I wouldn't even bother going to the cinemas for that price. When I moved to ACT from QLD I thought the jump to $13 or so for Dendy (after "Club Dendy" membership) was bad enough having had $8.50 tickets at Cineplex in Brisbane.

Please don't waste space in the description with drivel like this. The first part is what can be seen from the deals list page and helps give a better insight into what the deal is about. Having to click through to see more info is wasting people's time.

    You asked for it.

  • shame that there are no good movies on atm…unless you are yet to see batman 3

I dunno, I found The Campaign, Expendables 2 and Total Recall all rather enjoyable. None of them were particularly deep or anything, but I don't regret seeing them.

  • went to hoyts and they denied this offer as this only for certain HR member(i'm one of them for 3 years). i have to pay full price
