3x 140 Dose Mometasone Spray + Bonus Hayfever Trio $42.99 Delivered @ PharmacySavings

10off

Hi Ozbargainers,

To say I have been besieged with requests for Momestasone nasal spray would be an understatement. The market is really tight and several suppliers are still long term out of stock. Chemists' Own have maintained stock at wholesalers but their prices are really high, combined with ever increasing Australia Post pricing, its been really hard to put a deal together on Mometasone nasal sprays.

Anyway the good news for Ozbargainers is I have written down the value of remaining Lorazol 10's and Cetrelief 10's to ZERO, due to short dating so I can bundle these up with some good dated Fexo, to really put a good deal together. I think this makes a pretty compelling bundle deal.

There is allot of room left in the satchel when these items are packed, so I've added a few of the most popular Winter items available at upgrade pricing (see drop down menu on website listing page).

Item:
3x Chemists' Own Mometasone 140 Dose Spray, Exp End March 2026

Always good deals and quick shipping - take an upvote for your troubles.

Having happily purchased numerous of your other hayfever combos over the years, I’m an advocate. Only feedback is, since your three usual generic tablets work so well in concert, I’m not keen on a three pack of the nasal spray for something that may not fit for me.

If you ever get the chance to break up into single pack trials - as an add on or part of another combo pack - reckon you might find a few folk like myself who may bite the bullet and challenge long standing aversions against shoving things up the nose.

  • Bought 1. Thanks for an awesome deal. I'm pretty new to this country so I guess this would normally require a prescription in order to purchase them, correct?

    • These don’t need a prescription in AU.

  • Weird that there is always “the best” sinus spray at around $50 on a prescription and then it becomes OTC and cheaper when a new better one comes in.

    • +2

The best spray on prescription for me is Dymista 125/50 which contains Azelastine hydrochloride and Fluticasone propionate. This now has a way better private health insurance rebate; but is still expensive.

      • +2

Dymista is ridiculously expensive. It works, but given the cost I only use it when things get really bad.

        • I agree. And me too. I did however pay $51.95 and got $21.95 back on private health cover.
(Eze or Azep are usually enough for me). Eze is cheaper as it comes in a 10mL bottle. They have the Azelastine hydrochloride.

@Eeples: Dymista is now over the counter as of 2 weeks ago. Should cost around the 35$ mark now

            • @bobby23: Really?

              wow. Thanks.

              • @Eeples: yes! its a lot cheaper now as well.

            • @bobby23: Hmm I wonder if it'll come down closer to mometasone in price. I get by really well with this stuff and an antihistamine

            • -1

              @bobby23: Nope, still prescription.

            • @bobby23: Another chemist I went to says it is still on prescription.

              • @Eeples: I own a pharmacy. They probably haven't sold her old prescription packaging Dymsita. Tell them to order the New over the counter packaging. Technically they can sell the old packaging one as over the counter but it'll be the old pricing. If you're in Perth come see me !

      • Tell us more abt private health insurance rebate?

        • Okay.

On some extra's policies you can claim on non PBS pharma.

I have previously claimed on immunisations for OS travel and the Dymista (I used to only get back $10 on it).

I apologise if your question was facetious.

  • Upvote! … I used this with your Lorazol. Works wonder. Thanks @jason101

  • How is this compared to Nasonex?

    • Same active ingredient: Mometasone Furoate 50ug/spray x 140 Dose / 18g

      • -1

At first I read that as 50bug/spray

  • can the expiry dates be better than Oct/Sept 2023?

    • Yes but not at this price, the only way this deal comes together is by the short dated product adding exactly $0 to the price of the deal - I'll list better dates with the next Mometasone deal as I'm always happy to give Ozbargainers what they want, trade off is the price will be higher.

  • +1

Do you ever have specials on Azelastine hydrochloride such as Eze or Azep?

  • The Ibuprofen addition didn't work properly for me. It only added a 96x pack, where I thought I was getting a 192x pack as indicated above. Order #38500 - can you check what will actually ship? Thanks.

    • +1

Hi - the 192 pack is not this offer, its a separate deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/779392 - the add on to the Mometasone is a single 96x tab box (per the drop down box in the listing)

      • Thanks for clarifying.

Perhaps update the deal to list the available additions and their costs?

        +$6.00 - 96x Ibuprofen 200mg

        etc.

It's not hard to figure it out from the web site, but having the info readily available in the deal listing is always nicer.

  • What’s the diff between these Momestasone nasal spray compare to Rhinocort Extra Strength Hayfever (64mg) ones?

Wife use the rhinocort one almost daily so curious to know if it’s same same or very diff

    • Most people use the one that works for them the best.

You can google the active ingredient.
