  • To whoever updated the title, thank you.

  • Anyone with experience with this?

I have the gp2000. Used it heaps for paddock bashing with a car that needed jump starting every time, used it on one battery of a small 24v truck, used it around home for ride on mower, plus my car, my wife's car and other peoples cars. Also used it heaps for phone charging etc. I can't fault it. I bought the GT3000 tonight because I like the 50 min charge time and it can power my laptop. For $119 you won't be disappointed. Something similar at the shops will be $300

    • Yes I have this and 2 other Gooloo jump starters. This GT version is excellent, used it dozens of times and it's never missed a beat. Grab one.

  • Wonder if this would be good to power on a dashcam as opposed to a normal powerbank.

This uses Lithium Polymer vs. Lithium Ion.

    • Is it better to hardwire a dashcam?

    • Technically it would, I'm not sure if it supplies power while being charged. It might but you'd want to check. Only issue I could see is if you leave it for a few days, find your battery flat, then the power bank might be flat too

    Bought! Thanks

I bought this (or a smaller capacity version) to jump start a 2004 car with a healthy but flat battery (undriven for 3 months). I had to use forced mode since the battery was completely flat.

2nd time I used it was for a 2011 car with a faulty/weak alternator. It worked to get the car where it needed to go, but obviously only a temporary solution.

  • This or Baseus for about $20 more?

    • That looks reasonable

    • Looks alright. $/mAh about the same.

More like the GT4000, except that extra low self discharge looks interesting. These things seem to lose charge quicker than you think they would.
Handy having DC input for charging as well as USB-C too.

      • Looked into this. It has higher starting current of 1000A. But no "boost mode" to start dead batteries not sure if it is a missing function or not. It is also significantly heavier.

In the end I went with GT3000 because the brand is more specialised / eatablished. Also 600A /3000A is more than sufficient for my car

        • It is supposed to support 0V starts. Weight is similar to the GT4000 which is the same size battery.
I do prefer the dimensions of the Gooloo over the squarer Baseus for some reason, though I also noticed the Baseus DC output jack is 12V instead of the 15V of the Gooloo. I have a different Gooloo and found with some devices (ie my electric SUP pump) they won't run because the voltage is too high.
Gooloo does come with a 100W car charger though. Baseus doesn't seem to have any charger, just a USB cable.

Wanted one of these for ages. Finally gave in and got one :)

    Thanks OP

These things are great, the amount of strangers cars I've jump started 😂 never had to jump start my own though yet

  • Did anyone who jumped on this deal also get a 'Bonus' EVA case from the seller to go with the battery?

    • I got a message about the free case. The tracking number on record with Ebay is for the case and arrived at the post office today. Still waiting for the main unit.

      • Likewise but my unit came yesterday direct and packaged from amazon so they must be just using eBay as another channel and putting through any eBay orders through to their Amazon store to fulfil.

That's very interesting as they seem to have shifted away from selling direct on Amazon over at least the last few months. Thank you for the reassurance that the units are shipping though, for a moment I wondered if I'd have to battle with eBay for a 'Delivered' item. Gives me a bit more hope.
