Hmmm, multiple personalities. Good idea! …

'I'll have one free meal for me, and one for my alter-ego Janice thanks. Oh, and Ronda might take over my body in about 15 minutes, so you better get a meal ready for her as well.'

What a stupid and ridiculous 'promotion'

  • +3

Stupid promo in this day and age

  • the day 50% of front line soldiers kia are women, then maybe we are close at the equality that feminists pushed for.

    • -2

Women dont have to join the army to be killed when they're 70%~ of domestic homicide victims in their own country. Let alone battling the higher amount of sexual, emotional, physical violence they encounter from fellow citizens.

You do know there are far greater female domestic homicide victims than Australian soldiers' deaths each year, right?

      • +3

Gee G-Hern, there you go again spouting blatantly false claims in this forum. Re:

'… higher amount of … physical violence they encounter from fellow citizens.'

Here's some facts from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS):

In 2005 4.7% of women experienced physical violence, compared to 10.4% of men (more than double).
In 2012 4.6% of women experienced physical violence, compared to 8.5% of men.
In 2016 3.5% of women experienced physical violence, compared to 5.4% of men.
In 2021-2222 2.9% of women experienced physical violence, compared to 6.1% of men (again, more than double).

        https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/people/crime-and-justice/p…

Here's another quote from an ABS report released in 2022 that I'm assuming you will find enlightening G-Hern, because it contradicts the falsehoods you are spreading here:

'Women were about as likely as men to experience emotional abuse by a current partner'

On a final note G-Hern, you do know that the vast majority of homicide victims in Australia (and virtually everywhere else in the world) are men, not women, right? The split is about 70% vs. 30% in Australia, according to the ABS.

Gee G-Knuckle, "Why bother repeatedly trotting out that tired little list" to quote you I'll just do the same as you constantly do and just ignore whatever I feel so.

You act like I'm denying that men can be victims and are suggesting they are deserving of it, when you are obsessed that women are conspiring against you and have overthrown society in their favour. I mean they must have since this deal has more positive votes. One minute free rashay's meals, next minute the world right? lol.

@Gehirn: The biggest and most important difference between you and I in the context of this forum/discussion G-Hern, is that I provide referenced statistics compiled by the Australian Bureau of Statistics based on extensive scientific research—whereas you provide emotive/subjective BS.

Thankfully, many of the peeps here at OzB are savvy enough to recognise the difference.

            • -1

@GnarlyKnuckles: What's the point when anytime other stats are provided around a topic you think is "tired" you ignore them.

You pick and choose what you listen to. You don't care about the statistics of sexual assaults, domestic violence, etc, and you especially don't care about the statistics around the male vs female positions in management, women in unpaid roles, etc.

You've clearly made your point that you only want the numbers where males are the victims. And see I care about both genders, but you don't care because apparently its justly so from males being held down as apart of some global agenda.

I really hope one day you put your energy into contributing to this site instead of using it as a platform for your grievances with society.

Thankfully, many of the peeps here at OzB are savvy enough to recognise this was a deal.

@Gehirn: There's so much I could respond to that drivel with G-Hern, but re this:

'I really hope one day you put your energy into contributing to this site instead of using it as a platform for your grievances with society.'

Note that all of my responses to you have been focused on correcting blatant falsehoods (i.e. misinformation, lies) that you yourself have gushed emotively and erroneously in the text. Therefore that comment of yours above is pure hypocrisy. I hope that one day you will realise that repeatedly posting demonstrably false assertions has rapidly reduced your credibility to zero. Next time, verify the facts before you post.

                  @GnarlyKnuckles: Okay.

                  Re:

I hope that one day you will realise that repeatedly posting demonstrably false assertions has rapidly reduced your credibility to zero.

Seems like you know all about that around here, GanglyHand.

Well I'm taking leave of the GnarlyKnuckles experience of random bold, random punctuation, strange nicknames, etc., and your whole pseudo-intellectual conspiracy based self. I use this site for deals, not as ones soapbox for gripes as some do. Oh look here's one as voted by the community.

@Gehirn: Yes I agree, it was getting rather cyclic (you lying, me providing the facts, you lying, me providing the facts, etc.). Mind the door on your way out.

  • +2

Never seen that many triggered ozbargainers.

It's a strange "deal", but then - the comments section is a bucket of a smalltown puke. Like the one right above mine.

    • +2

so you haven't actually read many of the comments, but you are happy to critic mine - okay thats your choice

feel free to report it, its your choice.

      • Nah, unfortunately I got to read them, including both of yours - and I absolutely mean it.

  • +4

Whys everyone so butthurt. Night clubs been doing this for ages with free entry and drinks for girls

    • +1

Yeah like, I don’t see a reason to be mad at this. I guarantee they all don't even pay attention to the sport in the first place

  • +2

    Straight up discrimination.

    Just nope.

  • +2

Thanks OP, fed my family of four for $20

  • +1

    Omg what happened here 🤯

  • Any males manage to score a free meal

  • +3

Wish we got more negs to use on the wokies lol

    • -1

Are you negging to highlight the social injustice here?

      • I'm negging in an effort to cure cancer and achieve world peace. Noble objectives indeed, wouldn't you agree?

  • +6

This deal bombed harder than the Matilda's.

    • -6

Huh? There's more positive votes. It won.

      • -4

Negging me doesn't change that lol.

      • +2

Yo Guernsey, so you are saying that if an entity achieves a greater amount of positive votes than negative votes it is a 'winner', and if it achieves a greater amount of negative votes than positive votes it is a 'loser'.

Based on your categorisation system, you and RG are most definitely … well … you get the picture.

  • Usually my local is empty.

When I drove past last night to suss it out, at 1800hrs, there were about a 100 people waiting in line. And the inside was FULL. Even balance of men and women. Lots of kids.

Deffo NOT an obtainable deal for me.

    How discriminatory
