    Yeah may as well just get the Koda ($579 at DJ) if you want to use gas. From what I read cooking in 90 secs with a wood fire isn't enough time to impart a smoky flavour (i.e. there is no difference in taste between gas and wood). Plus gas is easier, and the Koda is less cumbersome than the Karu.
