    IS THIS GOOD

  • +3

The review does not looks good.

    • +1

Most of the Amazon reviews are several years old (ie pre-date this release) and refer to features not found on this model, so they need to do some editing there.

      • paid reviews too, and if you go read till end you will find some other headhone reviews added on the lists

    • Its quite common for seller to reuse their old product page with good reviews.

copper accents looks like a Cupra product

The AANC version is also on special for $77.59 https://www.amazon.com.au/SoundPEATS-Air4-Cancellation-Earph…

  • Can't wait to see how "Multipoint Connection" works

If I can have it paired to Windows for YouTube/Spotify and phone for calls I will be set

    • +2

Works well - Ive got it for a PC and phone.

      • How's the fit and call audio quality?

        • No complaints so far, def a step-up from the air 2s I had!

      • Say you're on PC. A call comes in, how do you switch to the phone?

        • +1

I just received my air4 lite and have played around. It's how it works.

          1. Download the app and connect to your air4
          2. Turn on the "Dual Device Connection" feature
          3. Connect to your first device and turn off Bluetooth.
          4. After you turn off Bluetooth on your first device, connect your Air4 to your second device.
          5. Once you connect your Air4 to the second device, now you can turn on Bluetooth on your first device.
          6. You will hear"connected" again if it is set up correctly.

The Air4 will switch automatically between the devices to play the sound.

          • @TazLee: do you hear from both at the same time?
eg PC playing a movie, call comes in

            • @furyou: In this case, Air4 will switch to your phone to pick up the call, and you will not be able to hear from your PC.
After the call, it will switch to PC automatically.

              • @TazLee: I just got my pair too - does yours do the same as below using a LG Gram (Windows 11) and Samsung S21U (Android v13) ?

Scenario 1: Audio (Spotify) playing on phone, then press play on a youtube video on PC, audio is the Youtube video and Spotify pauses (not plays whilst mute).on phone (perfect).

Scenario 2: Youtube playing on PC, then press play on Spotify on phone, audio is Spotify on phone but then Youtube is still playing (doesn't pause) and no sound from Youtube video - basically just wanting to see whether the PC media should be pausing or not

What's the difference between this and the non-lite version?

    • +1

      even SoundPEATS won't know
they have created so many cross products its hard to tell which ones are best.
i reckon air3 delux hs better than this one

  • +1

I found a big jump in sound quality, BT connection, and battery life between the Air2 and the Air3.

I wonder whether going from Bluetooth 5.2 to 5.3 makes much difference.

    • not really, you take out and it connect thats all

      • I find with the Air2 I have to connect them each time.

The Air3 just connects when I turn them on.

BT v5.2 to v5.3 signifies a minor update, so I wouldn't expect much.

  • How do these compare to the Google buds for $149 at telstra??

  • If you want in ear get mini pro HS using it now, fit well and good call quality $60 at the moment

  • I just received the Air3 Deluxe HS or whatever today …

    • Yup, I just ordered the Air3 for the same price two days ago. Boo

  • Air4 Lite does not support Active Noise Cancellation. Does ANC make a lot of difference on voice calls?
Have the Air3, the voice still sounds like thru a sheet same as Air2. Nothing seems to get close to just talking w/o buds.
Does Air4 make any strides in this area?

    • I think you need in-ear to get a good ANC, not sure how good semi in-ear with ANC.

  • Just received mine. Quick review after 5-10 mins of playing around. Compared to my Soundpeats TrueAir2, these are more comfortable (I had to buy silicone covers for the TrueAir2). Sound quality better. Connects very quick. Multipoint (connect 2 devices at once) does work… BUT….. as TazLee said, you have to download the SoundPeats app, then turn on Dual Device Connection. When you do this it says it disables LDAC though. I'm no audiophile, haven't noticed a difference. Case is slightly bigger than TrueAir2, but more rounded. Happy so far.
