      Lol not true. I own both, nuptse is way warmer but its a nicer warmer too.
      Also the design and cut of the jacket is way nicer. The macpac is ugly af from a fashion POV. I would happily pay extra 150 bux for (at this price) for this NF.
      My friend has the version below and they didnt like it at all.

      Which TNF though? They make cheap garbage for walking around town, serious high altitude mountaineering gear, and even more serious Antarctic base camp gear- loads of top end down, baffled construction.

      Macpac makes casual cool weather street garbage, and up to 'camping in mild Australia winters jackets with average down quality with the easiest construction methods.

      It's like saying you own an Audi. It could be an A3 or an R8.

      I checked my brothers Halo the other day. It's… About worth what you pay for when they are on $90 dollar deals. On par with my Nepalese made jackets that were half the price.

    I bought this jacket last month and I can tell that Macpac or Kathmandu has better quality. So bulky and the fabric is so thick so the jacket is super heavy, not ideal for travelling

        When you consider the track record of the LNP with China and the various methods the media used to cover it up - shift reporting, failure to report, smear campaigns, etc. There's the Port of Darwin, poles and wires, sale of medical businesses, Global Switch, water rights, etc. You can even look at where various LNP politicians end up after their careers.

      despite the sour comments above, this is actually not a bad one.
      Very warm,

      This one: 85-90% goose down, 700 loft, around 233g fill weight for size m
      Halo: 80% duck down, 600 loft, around 205g fill weight for size m
      The surface material is considered superior as well for north facxe with dwr finish.

      Diminishing of return? yes.
      Crap product? no.
