  • Any deal for 8’ android tablet ? :)

    • +3

Alldocube iPlay50 Mini Pro will be US$129.99 ex GST and coupons. 8.4", Android 13, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and MediaTek Helio G99. A big upgrade compared to the original Mini.

I'll certainly work to get a cheaper price.

      • What about slightly larger? I'm in the market for a couple to replace Samsung a7 lites that the kids have trashed. This was slightly more than I hoped to pay but I don't want garbage and those Samsung's were pretty average. Assuming that we wait for Mon to get the stacked coupon deals?

You'll need to set your budget to US$150-200 for anything decent. I'll look out for some 10.1" ones.

  • Wonder how much the Poco F5 will be 🤔

    • $441.44+gst

      • I'm still on the fence as I've heard some folk have horrible battery life/health on theirs + overheating issues.

I think I'll keep my Frankensteined F2 Pro alive longer for the Poco F6 or pro.

    smooth like butter

  • Hi Clear, any thoughts on Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2023 vs Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4? Almost identical in specs but Lenovo is newer and supports 144MHz refresh rate. Cheers

  • I'm looking forward to a @clear analysis of the pros & cons of the various 8inch tablets.

I want to mount one on my adventure bike (GasGas ES700) for road/off-road navigation, so price (it might get broken or drowned), GPS accuracy, screen brightness (sunshine) and reasonably tough are my KPIs

I'll reply back with a comparison table later tonight 😉

Here's the latest budget offerings in the 8" range. I've added the somewhat older Ulefone Armor Pad as it offers a rugged design to withstand drops, dust and water, as well as having a much brighter display.

What I haven't linked is the Lenovo Legion Y700 and Y700 2023. Both are really high end with the Y700 going for US$300+ (if you can find one without a fake Global ROM) and the Y700 2023 for US$400+.

Additional notes Most powerful tablet in list and my recommendation. Low to mid range gaming performance. Two versions available - 64GB & 128GB storage. The latter is recommended. Larger battery & better cameras than iPlay 50 Mini, but slower storage. Recommended over the iPlay 50 Mini and Doogee due to better CPU, display and battery Weaker CPU than Unisoc T606, but designed for outdoor use with rugged design, bright display, large battery, IP68/69K waterproof etc.
      • Thanks @clear, I ordered the HEADWOLF FPad 3.

FWIW, I added ~US$8 worth of useful little bits & pieces to get the price high enough to get the $18 (off $90 Spend & Save), the $12 (off $100 BTS12) and the $5 store coupon, plus I used $2.43 in coins. After Ali allocated the coupons and coins across the items, the tablet price came out at US $94.80 incl GST. And some titbits of cashback. I really don't get how Ali calculates GST, some unknown magic in there.

  • Thanks OP 👍

  • Looking for some Poe camera deals @Clear

  • Got Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini Pro down to AU$194.57 inc GST shipped on AliExpress.
On Taobao AU$215. Banggood preorder AU$233.71.

  • bt12 appears to be for a $120 spend

    • The usual AliExpress method is they take off the Spend & Save discount before determining if you qualify for the Promo discount, so if Promo BTS12 requires a $100 spend, and you get $18 off a $90 Spend & Save, you need spend $100+$18 to get both discounts. Using this, I got BTS12 from a $100 (after Spend & Save discount).

  • Cheers OP! 🍻

  • Wondering how long will this deal go for cheers, again thanks OP 😊 👍

  • It seems the coupon is not able to stack with the Spend & Save discout. I have total $120.07 and saved $18 from Spend & Save but when I entered the code BTS12 but it said 'This code can't be used in combination with other offers.'

Even when I put BTS5, the same error msg pops up. Sucks… :(

    • They do stack my guess is that maybe some of your items don't qualify.

      • +1

yeah you are right. They do stack. I found one of my item is on super deal so it doesn't work with the coupon. I've learnt new thing haha. Thanks OP!
