And yet you insist with these cheap gadgets and want people to pay with a lose transaction method since it has no shopper protection.

In fact I checked it (I always do) and people complained about wrongly installed components or not installed drivers while you deny it, so is your word against your clients' feedback the way to show that…..

You seem to have ignored all the positive reviews then.

I don’t understand what you are trying to get at here.

As many people have stated before: If you don’t trust the brand, don’t buy from them.

        • +11

You clearly have something against us.

If we seriously hated negative feedback do you really think we’d use TrustPilot? Of course not.

We’d go use one of the many other review platforms that allow you to filter out reviews that you don’t like (like a lot of other businesses do).

            • +18

@billadm: I find it quite rude that you are making multiple, ridiculous assumptions that:

              • our workplace is not a nice environment to be in
              • we don't pay our staff well enough
              • our staff run away
              • we assemble our computers on the cheap

You are fixated on us for some reason.

If you are a previous customer, please let everyone know about your experience. Don't just hide behind these unnecessary attacks on us.

We will not be commenting on this any further.

@billadm: Can I just say I purchased off the last promotion, with a stack of upgrades.

I received regular updates, delivery time was slightly delayed but I was notified of this and was still well within an acceptable time frame.

The PC arrived, was packaged brilliantly, had clear instructions on setup, and is one of the most professional builds I have ever seen. I haven’t left my google review yet (which I will), but the whole experience was just perfect and I couldn’t be happier!!

Would highly recommend and buy again, thank you for whoever posted the previous tip of matching the 4900 with the 78003d every game plays like butter!!!

      Hi Luke !!

Hi there, below is your review on Google and our response. I have also included the final email where you wanted us to give you what you wanted in exchange for removing your review.

      Google Review:
I purchased a prebuilt system at a reasonable price, only to be met with an incessant jet-engine-like noise caused by the fans running at high RPM even during idle periods. Despite my efforts, I couldn't tweak the fan curve through BIOS or third-party applications due to the limitations of the cheap fans included with the build. Upon realizing this issue, I reached out to them through emails and calls multiple times (though their phone line was sporadically responsive, managing to get through once regarding a prior query).

To mitigate the noise problem, I took matters into my own hands and acquired my own PWN Arctic P12 fans, a more cost-effective solution compared to their offerings. I then requested a refund for the inadequate generic Deepcool fans they provided, which were practically unusable. The fan noise was so intrusive that it could even be heard while wearing headphones in idle conditions. I even extended the gesture of returning the original fans for some form of reimbursement or refund. My expectations for a prebuilt system were for it to function seamlessly, as I would not have chosen this route had I anticipated such complications. Unfortunately, I ended up investing hours in troubleshooting and fixing issues, the very situation I sought to avoid by purchasing a prebuilt system.

Their response for denying a refund baffled me:

They contended that I had purchased replacement fans before seeking their assistance, rendering me ineligible for a refund. Their proposed "solution" was for me to purchase replacement fans from them at "cost price." But should I really be expected to wait another 10 days for fans when the prebuilt system, purportedly subjected to rigorous diagnostics and testing, sounded exponentially louder than my six-year-old setup? It begs the question of why I paid extra for a product that failed to meet even the most basic operational standards.

In my original order, I had opted for the least expensive fan option, downgrading from RGB fans. This choice was motivated by their claim that RGB colors weren't controllable. However, I never anticipated that this downgrade would result in the system sounding like an aircraft at idle. The disparity between my expectations and the reality was disappointing, to say the least.

I invite you to view the accompanying video, captured soon after the system's boot-up, with no programs running. Their promises, touted on their website, crumbled under scrutiny:

Great components at great prices: This was far from the truth.

Outstanding customer support evident in our positive reviews: My experience contradicted this claim.

Cutting-edge facility equipped with industry-leading quality control processes: It's hard to believe this given the glaring issues.

Rigorous stress tests conducted on each component: The excessive fan noise itself casts doubt on the efficacy of their testing.

Dispatch times are openly communicated for complete transparency: My order experienced delays without any communication until I initiated an inquiry into its progress.

Their performance fell short, leaving me unable to recommend their services any longer. Their claims remained empty rhetoric, void of corresponding actions.

      Our response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We apologize if our system did not meet your expectations. After a thorough review of your case, here's what transpired:

All your emails and queries were responded to on the same day they were received by us.

When you initially placed your order, you selected the pickup option at checkout. Given that you were located in a different state, our support team promptly reached out to verify your preference. You informed us that you actually required shipping and decided to offset the shipping cost by downgrading certain components of your PC, specifically the Fans and CPU cooler. We accommodated your request and made the necessary downgrades as per your instructions.

Your PC was shipped on the 4th business day, well within the 3-5 business day timeframe that we advertised for your PC.

Upon receipt of your PC, you expressed concerns about the absence of the fans you had initially purchased. We reminded you that you had requested the downgrade, which led to the exclusion of those fans. Additionally, you raised the issue of loud fan noise. To better understand the situation, we requested photos and a video of the fans in action.

Upon reviewing the provided media, we found that the fan configuration was indeed accurate. We then asked for your fan speed settings, aiming to determine whether the loudness was due to potential faults or incorrect settings. However, before we could proceed, you informed us that you had purchased new fans and were seeking reimbursement. This course of action prevented us from diagnosing whether the
issue stemmed from faulty fans or settings.

In the event of faulty fans, we would have taken the following steps:
      • Offered to send a replacement set of fans.
      • Provided the option to upgrade to a superior fan set, covering only the cost difference.
      • Assisted in the fan replacement process if you preferred not to do it yourself.

Unfortunately, you did not allow us the chance to present any of these solutions. Furthermore, we'd like to clarify your claim regarding "waiting another 10 days for fans". If replacement fans were necessary, we would have utilized express post for delivery, ensuring receipt on the following business day. We remain uncertain as to why you believed the process would take 10 days.

We value your satisfaction and regret any misunderstandings that may have arisen. Please know that our intention is to provide efficient solutions and swift service. If you have any additional concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Your most recent emails to us

      11/08 7:50PM
Look I don’t expect anymore replies that’s fine. I think youve made your decision and you’ll stick with that, you got your own opinions, and I got my own one.

Apart from this the pc is working well

      Thanks

      12/08 4:56PM
Upon reading your review, if you can, send me the new fans at the cost price difference that are PWN and I will remove my google review and will be a happy customer. Then I will look into
disposing of the ones I purchased. Let me know what options you have.

If you want to resolve it then this will be the course of action and I will be happy to remove my google review and further comments.

As a rep for other stores this kind of behaviour from OzBargainers is disgusting. We've had people send threatening emails about bad reviews if we don't give extended coupons for expired deals. Didn't your parents ever teach you manners?

Who would go out and buy their own fans then expect you to pay the difference. That would never work with JB or anyone else ever.

@billadm: You forgot to bold opinion. His disgusting behaviour has proven to be factual from the OP and not an opinion. Attempting to blackmail the OP to remove a review when the guy is in the wrong himself. That's ridiculous.

            • -6

@Clear: How is "We've had people send threatening emails about bad reviews if we don't give extended coupons for expired deals" even related for my case? I offered to send back the fans for some for some form of reimbursement as its literally sitting on my table doing nothing. I was even going to pay for the shipping. I could have even been more "disgusting" and just threatened them and asked for a full refund, or any other "disgusting" things you have experienced as a rep. Seems like if customers don't agree you, you are one of those that automatically hold the I am always right mentality, maybe I'll judge the type of person you are as well?

I only changed my request once their offer on the table was send me replacement fans at cost price, I was more than happy to send them back and pay for shipping. I think this is more than reasonable.

How does a disagreement with a company and taking further actions have to do with my parents teaching you manners? Are you sensitive to bad feedback / reviews / threatens? Maybe this isn't the right place for you -> did you parents teach you not to judge a person at first glance?

I used to work for hospitality industry, and obviously their are unreasonable customers, and sometimes customers are right. I've seen staff come and go, and even though the customers are right and have a fair point, these kind of staff always uphold their higher ground and think that whatever comes out of the customers mouth are utterly bs. Maybe that's you.

@ChangeZ: Who in their right mind would think buying their own replacement parts get reimbursed with the store?

@Clear: So you are telling me than you would never purchase a replacement product that you know is not up to the standard or unacceptable. This happens all the time.

Your argument is that I bought the parts before I gave Enigma the full opportunity to fix it.

Food for thought, what if I bought the replacement fans, and just pretended not to have? Putting in the old fans are receiving the new fans at cost price / or price difference? Wouldn't that be more of a disgusting behavior? I was super transparent, sent them a video / images.

I was honest about what I had done, and even offered to send them back out for a reimbursement, and certainly was not ambitious of the amount for good practice. I wasn't like "Hey the fans you sent me is absolute dog crap, I want my money back now, you wasted my time give me more -> gonna give you a bad review" .

I have no relation to the shop. But honestly if you are not happy with such small things…fan noise….then you ought to have built your own, or buy yourself some upgrades at your own cost.

This is like telling a car dealer 'don't like the road noise on your brand new car, take just the tyres back and gimme reimbursement'. It's a prebuilt. You are able to take it from there and do whatever you want. But the shop got you 99 percent there.

    • The exact point of buying a prebuilt is to avoid these kind of problems as they are the professionals and you are not

Their policy is focused on very strict budget systems in order to compete with other maerchants.
(Accusation removed), it's their own admission that now they are short on personnel and systems will take longer to be delivered.
They also always deny customers' negative feedback and always have excuses like you can find on Trustpilot, badly assembled parts or non installed drivers.
And if you come here and give a negative feedback, this marketing guy here even verbally attack you and labels you rude and a slander, his policy is always deny!
Go give your feedback on Trustpilot also in the future I highly recommend you buy from this merchant who I regard as very professional and polite.

Pretty legit, it doesn't work so I return the laptop back to JB for a refund and buy another laptop from another place.

Techfast is super cheap, and honestly, pretty poor value. There is a very specific target market for their incredibly budget parts, but you're almost always better off spending an extra 15% to get a more stable build and future upgrade options.

      • Had plenty of techfast builds over the years, never had an issue. Do wish we would star seeing 4080 builds a bit cheaper tho, this gen sucks.

  • Can you do a deal witb optical audio motherboard? Or is there a way to have optical audio opion / card?

Happy with my purchase from Enigma from their last post. No issues at all, just a tad longer build time than initially stated.

    • I agree..
Bought off previous deal, changed a few things and all done as requested. Couple days longer than expected, but not a big issue considering the top notch build quality, value, and support before during and after purchase.
      Very happy.
      Thanks again Matt/Emma/Nick

      • Thanks for the kind words. Happy to hear you had an enjoyable experience :)

    • I also purchased off a previous deal and happy with the product.

Was shipped within expected time frame.

  • Price is decent for an entry level PC. Best of all, You listed the parts you will use. heaps don't and just throw in gigabyte and cheap crap.

  • dear @enigmapc how much to upgrade the motherboard to asus tuf B650 ATX/MATX? is it worth it to upgrade it to B650? thank you
