  • Are these two companies Zsus and Asus related?

  • So is it powered by PD? What wattage does it passthrough?

  • 400 nits and 100% sRGB. Impressive.

    • Many numbers on Aliexpress are made up though.

      • +6

the site where everything's made up and the points don't matter.

    • just need 120hz

  • OOS

  • Is it OOS or seller is not delivering to Adelaide?

  • Not delivering?

  • Anymore portable monitor deals, think this is sold out

  • Read the msg at top right of the webpage: "This product can't be shipped to your address. Select another product or address"

Funny that AE system will allow me to add to cart and checkout if I use my temp USA address - no sure what's going on there.

FWIW if you do a search on AE there are a bunch of other stores selling the same/very similar item around the same price ($100 AUD)

    • +1

That would likely mean the CN stock is sold out and there's US stock available.

  • Edit: Different brand nevermind

  • Requires HDMI for video, no video over type-c from standard USB-C 3.2.

    • Is that from your testing?

      • Yes, bought it at about $120 few weeks back

        • Does that USB-C port on your devi E support USB alt mode? Any old USB C port won't work.

          • @Clear: USB 3.2 on an Acer Swift X doesn't work and USB-C on multiple Samsung phones don't work.

They power the device but no display, could only get display via HDMI. Don't have a thunderbolt device to test but I believe it's thunderbolt only if display works at all via USB-C.

  • It is back in stock, just brought one for $102.28 including 15-day delivery to WA

been using mine for a couple of weeks.

    • stand is a bit iffy, just uses the cover (like an ipad cover basically) and uses a couple of pieces of rubber to keep it steady, glue isn't very strong on this rubber and they have fallen off so need to glue back on - so I'm buying a little tablet stand for it. like without these rubber bits it's going to flop forward. I think this is the biggest problem
    • usb c charge is on the right side. my laptop usb c port is on the left. i use the screen on my right. so just bit of cable management around it
    • you can use pass through but it's still extra cables running around
    • actualy screen itself is not bad, it's not as clear or bright as my laptop screen (3 year old thinkpad), i don't use it for video or anything so it's fine to just have your extra spreadsheets and that kinda stuff on.

for what I use it for (secondary screen to leave at my partners house) it's perfect. Would be good if you were travelling and were doing a lot of work in a hotel room or maybe a workspace. I wouldn't bring it to a cafe or use it as a primary screen
