  • Construction looks a little cheap but I guess it fits the price

    • What specifically makes it look cheap construction wise?

I find with a lot of these shoes the fabric at the heel wears quickly exposing the plastic.

When the mesh meets the tole and base. The base also looks plasticy and generic like a kmart runner.

  • any other colours?

Might be cheaper to go to an outlet store. Bought this (listed $80, discounted to $66) for only $37 at Birkenhead Point in Sydney last week.

    • any other colours? got too much black on black

      • Yeah heaps of other colours in the store, just not sure if the 50% off store wide discount (on top of discounted prices) is still available.

      • Great for office workers though.

        • +1

they don't look like something you would wear in the office

@alamodey: They're passable work shoes if you work in IT haha

  • +1

    Size available. Good price.

  • I currently have a pair of these. Once worn on, they're hella comfy!

    • Is it true to size?

  • I’m fussy with shoes but for $50 I’ll give it a go

I got this pair last year and the "cloud foam" inner sole lasted about 4 weeks before disintegrating. Pretty disappointing from a major brand.
I salvaged the pair with an aftermarket replacement inner sole.

    • +2

I am experiencing the same problem..disappointing

    • Which sole did you purchase? I'm in the same position.
Their ultraboosts are amazing but the cheaper options dont last at all.

      • +1

Just one from woolies. Can't remember the brand. One that you cut down to size. Took a bit of fiddling to get just right

    • I just got a pair for $37 last week and they are pretty comfy, kinda worried now considering my last pair's soles (similar literacer adidas, not cloud foam) also gave out albeit after over 2 years, lol.

    • I would like to know the replacement sole as well. Thanks !

      • I just bought a generic one from woolies and cut it down to size

  • +2

the sole surface also looks like it would not provide anything by way of grip or durability.

  • Bought some. Can't be any worse than my kmart shoe

Won't let me use DASO20, saying code no longer works, but have DAUG23 with same discount amount that was available.

    • Thanks I’ll update the post :)
Earlier when the deal was posted, only the DASO20 was working, and not the updated code per the eBay Plus Tuesday for this week

These are most probably bad quality. Stay away.

I got a very similar pair of adidas for $35 delivered back in Feb - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/757391 has 400+ votes.
The shoes are light, breathable and comfortable so I even for a second pair a day after the first arrived.
6 months later it's obvious they're low quality - inner sole has bits breaking off, and the bottom cloudfoam sole has worn very quickly, to the point it's slippery on wet smooth footpaths.
I'm not a heavy guy, and didn't do anything apart from walking around in them, but they're beginning to wear through to the foam at the heel.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/2qTux7DbQM5N5bFv7 shows a side-by-side of the 6 month sole and the unused 2nd pair.
I don't exactly regret getting them - whaddya expect for $35 - but I wouldn't get them again.

No way in hell these shoes are worth $120, or even $50. Stay away.

      Great cautionary review, thanks.
Very much like my Nike "Wearallday" pair. Those soles just don't last, but mine are a couple of years old. The uppers are relatively new but soles almost bald.
Re-soling kits used to be a thing, but harder to find now.

Edit: No matter, a cheap solution

      • Bwahahaha excellent. But in true ozbargain fashion the sole should have been cut from a tyre that was worn down unroadworthy levels :D

      • That's a great solution! Did you follow a guide online, or just wing it and hope?

        • None of the above, a nicked photo from Pinterest when I did an image search for "sneaker re-sole kit".

  • Adidas are the only shoe I've had where the midsole disintegrated after wearing only a few times (LITE RACER CLN 2.0). The Cloudfoam is like recycled cardboard and soft brittle foam. I've not even had cheap stuff from kmart this bad (safety shoes still going strong after years of daily use, cheaper Nikes lasted so long they went out of fashion!). Will not buy Adidas again

    • I'm gonna find it hard to buy Adidas again too. Exact thing happened to me. And thier customer service was awful. They got very defensive immediately. Told me "there is very little probability of a product being of inferior quality".

      No thank you.

Just delivered yesterday and wearing them today. Very comfy, thanks OP!
