Boost Mobile: $16.00 Cashback ($4.00 Profit) on 50GB 28-Day SIM @ Cashrewards

3680

Hi Guys. We've got a great deal for you from Boost Mobile until 11:59PM (AEST) where we're offering $16.00 cashback ($4.00 profit) on the already discounted $12.00 SIM. The discounted SIM also ends at midnight, so this is your last chance to take advantage of this offer (unless withdrawn prior). Thanks!

Here's the Special Terms for Boost cashback in general:

  • Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. Adding more than one SIM to an order will result in an untracked purchase.
  • SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering.
  • You must return and click through Cashrewards for each new transaction.

Also, here are some great tips that TA always adds to his posts to help with tracking:

For tracking success, disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. Cashrewards must be your last click before purchase. Use our iOS/Android mobile app for great results. Use our Help Centre & Contact form here for any questions or issues.

Idk what Boost has against some of you, but I just did 5x with same details and card and it went thru without a hiccup, and all tracked within less than a minute. The 6th one came back with Sorry error, I suppose max 5x

  • I have ordered two but still havent received the "cashback tracked" email/notification. Has everyone got the tracking email within a minute?

    • Yes or within 30mins

      • Ordered and tracked in 1 min. Used chrome.

    • +2

Got a message from TA, cancelled my orders and used the app by switching off wifi. This worked perfectly. Cancelled the previous orders. Thanks @tightarse !

      • The issue seems to have been due to my browser. I do use brave which I think blocks ads…
Best way to ensure tracking is CR app for this deal at least.

        • +2

Glad to be of assistance. Brave is a browser I strongly suggest ditching for cashback sites (it kills affiliate tracking by design, see the tips in the OP). Always suggest using the Cashrewards app with wifi off as this also eliminates potential issues with firewalls & routers. Glad it all worked out :)

        • Which is why you need to disable tracking on each website in brave to get cashback.
I use brave, no problems in tracking (that being said I have to extra hard work by disabling tracking on the websites each one everytime. If your lion symbol is orange, that means brave is actively blocking stuff, If its is grey then you are good generally).
However you still need to take care of other adblocks, pop up blockers in browsers, or VPN, and antivirus program, modem/router settings that have integrated adblocking/anti-tracking features.

In case of boost shopping here, you need to disable three sites:
          Cashrewards,
          initial boost homepage,
          Boost payment page

  • Sorry guys, a bit of a noob at this, but how are you becoming a "new customer"? New e-mail/address?

In terms of when you're activating your card, they ask for ID details, how do you become a "new customer"?

    • +1

I can't speak for everyone but I'd say 99% of the people doing these cashbacks uses the same email address and phone number. I haven't had an issue with that method and haven't had cashbacks declined for using the same information.

      • +1

        Agree!

I use the same email address and phone number and so far, never had any issue with it. Fingers crossed.

    • +2

It doesn't matter if you're an existing customer. Create a boost ID and use that to activate… Occasionally they might say you have reached the limit of maximum 10? Active numbers but you can tell them to delete them all and start all over again.

  • +2

how many sim cards limit can one ID activate under boost mobile? If it has been beyond, how to do next?

    • +1

go to chat to cancel your other sims or to activate the ones you have left

    • +2

Thirty five. I can confirm this as a Boost Mobile rep had let me know when I did a bunch of sims.

  • Perfect! Lovely deal. Glad it's back to $4 per sim temporaily..

  • we need the 1 year deal!!! with less GBs!

    • -1

We really don't. Be brave, ditch your permanent number, you can do it!

  • Was only able to successfully buy 1 using CR app. After that kept on saying “Something went wrong” :(

  • Here we go again. Cheers. Ordered 1.

  • Damn, Got one. Have about 5 boost sims now waiting to be activated.

  • +1

I find that I need to go through live chat to activate after ~3-5 sim activations.
It always comes up with "something went wrong" error after the email page.

    • Activate with a family or friends ID.

  • +2

And just not so long ago we thought these deals are all long gone and now we are getting it in the truckloads.

  • +1

If this is indeed unlimited, then if someone farms this 12 hours a day at the rate of say 3 mins per Sim, they can make an easy $4 X 20 X 12 = $960 per 12 hour shift.

OP can you confirm it is really can be done without some ban on ones account???

  • Waht other things can I sign up for besides kayo? Does gyg still give free burritos?

    • +1

I don't know how up-to-date this information is but this might give you some ideas

    • Yes, they still give out free burritos on phone numbers that have not registered with them.

  • How long does it take to get delivered these days ? Until about two weeks ago it arrived within three days in Melbourne Metro. The reason I'm asking is I need a SIM by Friday or let's say Monday the latest. From what I can read in the previous comments they don't use Star track anymore so it is taking a week or so.

And once the sim arrives I'm planning to port in from Optus to boost but the issue is the email I have registered for Optus service is not the one I have used in my Cashrewards account. So, if I order sim through Cashrewards account (which has one email address) but activate/port it with a different email address that I have been using for my sim services since years, would that still be ok for tracking and approval ? I remember I did something similar three years ago for someone else for Catch connect and cashback got approved without issues.

Shopback has been really quiet these days for boost cashback offers. For some reason I got mixed up while registering for Cashrewards many years ago. So it becomes a bit of hassle every now and then while buying sim cards. I have the same email address for shopback account and my sim services.

    • How long does it take to get delivered these days ?

How long is the string of drool when Albo slurps in news conferences? (Update of, "How long is a piece of string?".) No way of knowing except the delivery times listed at point 8 on the first page: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/14192505/redir

The reason I'm asking is I need a SIM by Friday or let's say Monday the latest.

ColesWorths regularly have cheap SIM deals (but not always). About two weeks ago they had Lebara 70GB SIMs for $9 and even more GB for about $12 (I think). I saw another telco's SIMs discounted there a few days ago, single digit prices, but can't remember who because I ignored it thanks to these Boost SIMs. Maybe one of those is safest (if they're still on sale). i.e. Buy and port to something from ColesWorths (if any are available) while your Boost SIM arrives, use the ColesWorths SIM for whatever - about 3 weeks, then port to the Boost SIM.

So, if I order sim through Cashrewards account (which has one email address) but activate/port it with a different email address that I have been using for my sim services since years, would that still be ok for tracking and approval ?

Cashback tracking is triggered by your browser and/or app clicks and payment… and cashback is validated by someone (anyone) activating the SIM within 30 days. So email addresses don't come into it.

Lebara 70GB is on special at Coles for $9 starting tomorrow.

Lebara 4GB(+4GB Bonus data) is currently on sale for $4 at Coles if you can find stock of it.

        • Yeah I think mine was from Woolworths. And Coles a week or two before that. They take turns lol.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got one. Now have 3 sims need to be activated.

  • +2

Just bought 8. Not bad $32 profit

    • Nice, I just did 5. Good enough for me. Time to do something else lol

    • Are you using the same CR account?

  • +1

just tried to activate a sim, its bloody painful, tried so many times got to the last page then something went wrong.
i chatted with one of the customer service after being asked so many details at the end
she/he said oh cant do it as well, the activation is down should be 24 hours and advised me to "try again" tomorrow.

    • I just activated one without issue - firefox so perhaps its back up now. I did have issues with chrome though.

    • Contact customer service through chat - they can help you.

Got in 22 SIM Card Purchases, then just started giving me an error! Annoyance!

    • +1

Not sure why someone disliked your comment because that's actually a fair effort. Well done.

    • Got 39, then had to attend to sick child.
Could have made more, no issues and not many errors appearing if you know what to do

      • Ah! Same, I could have done more, however after trying it just kept giving me 'Something went wrong' error which I tried to bypass so I just decided to stop at 22.

  • +1

good for dual sim phones i reckon

  • I have tried two different accounts/cards and getting technical error from Boost site during payment processing.

      • really ? rip

        • +2

yes, should only take a few minutes for purchase to be tracked
if it doesn't show up you can contact boost customer support and they can cancel it
they did when i made a mistake once but others have reported their refusal
i contacted them promptly so get straight onto chat, hopefully they'll help

          • +1

@mantra: it tracked but only $16 for the lot.
finna contact them to cancel now thx yall

        • +3

What @mantra said. Rookie mistake I pray the CS helps you cancel them.

          • @noelhoi: appreciate ur prayers

          • @noelhoi: Yeah my personal experience with BOOST CS cancellation has at nothing but trash. Order always shipped for (and CS always assures me order will be cancelled and refunded, and then after telling them about order still not cancelled, they say they cannot do anything about it, since order already shipped) So then they offer me to be returning the sim, and supposedly a issue some NON EXISTING REFUND. I end up returning the sim, and never get refunded instead IF I am lucky (purchased sim using a bank card, like Revolut or another major bank), I always have had to do chargeback to get money back and give them evidence of unsupportive/lying Boost reps.

Since I had these issues like 3 times, I just decide to forget Cashback that time (when it does not track, due to my fault). And just keep sim at least, instead of being left without sim and without any cashback.

            • @USER DC:

              • 10:10
Okay, thank you. I have submitted a request for the cancellation and $60 refund for your order.

Refund will be sent back to the same credit card that the original payment was made from.

Please note that refund amount will be returned within 2 to 7 business days.

              • +1

@capslock janitor: Some have had luck getting their refund back successful. However I never have been able to get a refund from Boost directly, (Only fake promises for me).
As far as your experience goes I dont know how it would be, But if you share with us your result we would appreciate knowing the tactics
                Anyway good luck with refund

                • @USER DC: To update:
Wed 23rd received Telstra "Refund Successful" email.

Thur 24th StarTrack package of 5xSIM arrived.. and still got refunded back to ZipPay ..

Note: so that was quick delivery,
however I also placed a singular order before the 5, and another after the 5.
                  both yet to be seen.

                  ..unsure what's going on entirely.

dunno whether to activate SIMS yet.

                  • @capslock janitor: WoW, good that's pretty good for you
And here I still haven't even gotten my sim bought on 19 th August delivered to me yet

                    • @USER DC: saw the remaining 2x SIM in mailbox today, so was likely delivered during 2-3 days also!
                      yay
would appear i scored 5 for free ;p until i get thru staggered activations of all each SIM

just activated one from the batch of 5 and it's active. how nice they come included ejector tool

  • need telstra account to create Boost ID wtf

    • fb rep said to webchat them tomorrow - https://boost.com.au/pages/web-message-us

Damnit. I slept in for this great deal. Missed out ☹

    • +1

!3 hours is a long sleep, must have been tired.

  • +1

Has anyone noticed them taking longer to arrive? First order litereally was Monday afternoon a few weeks back, arrived early Tuesday morning, now its been about 5 days. Maybe I was just lucky the first two arrived so fast.

  • Just recieved Startrack notifications for SIMs ordered yesterday

    • Yeah boost keep sending dispatch emails saying StarTrack but then it's an AusPost Domestic Letter tracking number. Silly boost.

      • I havent received any notification for my Sunday order, and definitely nothing for yesterday(Tuesday) order.

        • I've gotten all my dispatch emails, I don't know why some people don't get them. I've found if I use my Telstra/boostID-registered email address in my order I always get an email, if I use a different email then I don't.

          • @wavesgreen: strange, I only mention because I did receive for the previous 2 cb from earlier in Aug.

        • I didn't receive any email too :(

  • StarTrack SIMs arrived in 2 days.

    • StarTrack doorstep. auto tracked in AusPost app.

Also 2x Domestic Letter arrived in mailbox! in ~3 days

  • Are OzBérs using it for the 28 days only, or also recharging them?

  • I had to cancel one of the order, any idea how long it takes them to refund?

  • Hi

This is one of my alternate boost months. Today I ported out of boost into a $6 Lebara Sim from the supermarket. I just noticed on the back of the pack it expired over two months ago on 11 June but was still able to activate it online with no issues.
Bloody Woolies selling expired sims !!!!
Just asking if the same works with the Boost Sims ?
I know I have to activate the Cashrewards Sims within 30 days, but I have quite a few boost sims from the Zip Offer a few months ago. They all expire early May next year and I bought quite a few Lebara Sims and they all expire late December this year. I know now that the Lebara ones can be activated after expiry date.
Has anyone been able to activate the Boost Sim after the expiry date on the back of the pack ?
    Thanks

    • Also want to know.

  • All 22 of my sims arrived today in a Green Domestic Letter With Tracking. Delivery took a week.

    • One letter?

      • All of mine have always been one sim per envelope. I'm pretty confident they use an automated mailing process.

      • My bad, 22 envelopes for 22 sims! not 22 sims in one envelope.

        • +2

22 and you going to activate them all within 30 days?

        • Wow 22 !!!

Do you mind me asking what are you going to use them for ? Or was it just for the profit ?

They only last six months before the numbers are permanently deactivated by Boost if they are not recharged.
I use them for new number offers, deals, subscriptions, etc but the main reason is to Wi-Fi devices in my house separately to each boost Sim
They really slow down my NBN if they all Wi-Fi to my NBN modem. I have fibre to the node Nbn. Hopefully that will improve soon. They are upgrading my area to fibre to the curb.

          • @kdmeir: Just for the profit and sign up offers such as Guzman Y Gomez.

  • yall active ?

    • how do i get all 7 to show up in my boost app anyway?
