AOC AGON Pro AG276QZD 26.5" QHD OLED 240Hz G-Sync Gaming Monitor $1286.08 Delivered ($0 C&C) + Surcharge @ Centre Com

60

Deal from every Ozbargainer's worse store.

Hefty surcharge 1.5% for Master/Visa, 2% for AMEX.

Very slow shipping. So, you might as well as go to the store personally. Free shipping excludes WA, NT & remote areas.

They check you ID (Both driver licence and the physical credit card you bought it with) for click and collect.

Otherwise, this is the cheapest QHD OLED 240Hz monitor I have seen. But there are risks:

  1. Burn in.
  2. Not clear about the ABL feature for this monitor (what's the 100% full screen brightness). I have Gigabyte FO48U, the measly 100-130nits is so dim to do anything.
  3. Subpixel layout for windows users.
  4. Just G-SYNC Compatible

Also comes with free keyboard or headphone:

GH210: RRP $79 (headphone)

OR

GK500: RRP $89 (keyboard with actual BLUE-clicky OUTEMU mechanical switch):

  • G-sync hardware or just compatible

    • Just G-SYNC Compatible

      • Thanks, personally wouldn't consider it as a replacement for one of my current ones.

But the price is good for a gaming OLED screen

at this price… just buy a 40+" tv :P if u have the room that is.

Feel like this is brought up every time.
People who want a high refresh rate, OLED experience for more competitive gaming should choose the 27" option as it is a 240hz display.

Thanks Op, ordered one for my 2 year old son, he loves drawing on them with permanent markers.

I think I will wait for this bad boy - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLTrTzP0vig

      Woah. Goals!

    • QHD 360Hz and 480Hz on the way as well.

    • OH BOY! SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!

Can't wait to pay a hefty price for a 32" 4K OLED + Asus Strix Tax. Considering their 27" OLED 240hz was $1800 ish, this is sure to be $3K right guys?

Wasn't there a deal like 5 days ago for HP omen monitor with the same specs for $525? Am I missing something here?

    • +1

      That ain’t oled

    • Slow (1st generation) IPS, versus sloppy OLED. OLED still wins.

  • Have AOC fixed their QC? AI once went through 3 AOC monitors in a row - all had either bad pixels or another massive problem out of the box.

At this price point, may as well get a TV.

    • Does your TV do 240Hz?

      • Only 120, but it's significantly larger. And 120 is more than enough for my needs, but of course others need max FPS.

        • Does your TV do 0.03ms response time?

          • @Edyolo: Don't know, never tried playing esports games on it.

    • +1

You can buy it in store, and unbox it in store if you are so concerned about bad pixels out of the box.

Repeat until getting one satisfied you.

  • Severely clamped colour gamut for an OLED apparently, seemingly a very cheap implementation.

If you're already up in this price range - and you really should wait for the price to soften more on OLED monitors - you don't compromise on HDR performance.

    • How? 98.5 DCI P3? Up there with the best OLED monitors.

      • The reviews are saying 87%.

Unless PCWorld are mucking up the HDR configuration, I'd say there's at least something wrong with the firmware.

        • That’s AbobeRGB.

          • @Edyolo: Sorry, rushing through some stuff, it's 91% DCI-P3, which is substantially lower than what it should be. Seems to be a firmware or matte panel limitation.

  • would love to know if there is any actual difference between 240hz and 160 hz oled screens since they are both in 0.03 gtg response time

    • Yes, image persistence is longer with the slower refresh rate, and inherently input lag would be greater also. You can see the difference clearly in motion pursuit photography, which does an excellent job of recreating how humans would track the motion.

Human vision benefits from up to 1000 FPS, the 'equivalent refresh rate' increasing beyond the central fovea.

The target before the end of the decade is 1000Hz, with a move to then push beyond that in order to provide reduced eyestrain through exceeding the physiological response of photoreceptor cells.

  • Any idea if there’s going to be a gloss finish oled in 27 any time soon?
Looked at the lg oled in store with the mattee finished and looked bad
