    128gb on a laptop? we aren't in 2012 anymore…

    • +3

The point of getting a low SSD option is that you can upgrade it yourself more cheaply.

    • +6

This particular IdeaPad Slim 3 chassis only has a single M.2 2242 slot so consider upgrading it like a Steam Deck

Thanks to the constant SN740 and PM991a deals floating around if you need extra space, get one of those drives plus a $5 2230 to 2242 extension and you will have 1TB ~ 2TB at a price better than anything Lenovo can offer

  • The other deal seems to be the 14” version

If you love yourself, the screen is a deal breaker

    • It's an IPS screen, it's fine though

    • what makes you say this? The res is not big enough?

      • +2

Colour reproduction will be poor. Blacks will be dark grey. It's a poor screen for video consumption or viewing photographs. If you're using it for word processing and such, it's fine.

  • I have no Uni email, any solutions?

    1. 16 GB DDR4-3200MHz (Soldered) +$29

is it cheaper if they dont solder it

  • Has anyone had any luck contacting through their Whatsapp support? I've never used Whatsapp before, and I sent a message to their support with my account being banned soon after for spam.

The other configuration is cheaper. Press “View all models” and you will see one with the model number “82XMCTO1WWAU2”. It comes preconfigured with a Ryzen 5 and 256gb SSD. Add the RAM and IPS screen and it’ll total $700.

512gb SSD is also a $20 upgrade, and so is backlit keyboard.

      Good find, deal updated

  • Can this be paid in installments via Lenovo? Or some other BNPL provider?
