      My cousin is a plumber by trade and had a disc disintegrate with normal cutting use (not sure of brand). He luckily survived unscathed, but it could have been really, really bad. I wont use any discs other than highly regarded brands now.

        Funny, but I have to downvote you in case there's people here who would take it seriously. I have taken it off once but only for a few seconds when I was young and desperate, there's no way I'd consider doing that these days.
