@HeWhoKnows: Definitely no charge for the sausage sizzle or other activities at the Father’s Day Family Night. It is not a fundraiser. Just a bit of fun for families. Community groups may have goods for sale, however. Come along!
I have seen that for mothers day it was free sausage sizzle and can of soft drink/water. However, the fundraiser continuously stares at you and keeps asking you if you want to donate to their local school/charity etc. It is very uncomfortable if you do not donate! then again, shame is not for an ozbargainer :)
@eeeee: Stare them back and maintain dominance. If necessary remind them again who is on the giving end and who is on the receiving end. Leave your shame at home.

My wife’s birthday was a couple of weeks ago. She received a card from the post office for a parcel. Thinking it was a present from someone,she excitedly rushed to pick it it up only to rip it open and find a Caltex Techron cap inside.

Remember when radio stations used to do free sausage sizzles and give away icy cold cans of Coke? Whatever happened to that. Radio stations used to have huge budgets to blow. I guess Facebook stole all their ad money.

Last time during Christmas, Sausage Sizzles were limited and OOS soon. Also, there was a wait line full of kiddos. This time runs long 5:00 AM - 7:00 PM so should be enough I guess.
