7 gen and still no NFC.. come on…

    • +1

Why do you want NFC when there’s zero chance any Australian bank is going support it?

      • +3

It's not about the Australian bank's support. They already support NFC with Google Wallet and some with Apple Pay. Finding a watch with NFC that can interact with Google Wallet doesn't require bank support so long as they're already affiliated with Google Wallet.

    • The gen doesn't matter, this is very low budget with minimal specs.

Why not get huawei band 8 or Xiaomi band 8 for not much more?

    • +1

link where they are not much more? they are at least double the price of this from what I can find. And all overseas stock.

Mi Band 8 $50-$60 from AliExpress

      • +1

Got my Mi Band 8 for $65 a few months ago, week it came out in China, off AliExpress.

Why the neg votes? I was legit asking where to find em cheaper. Thanks for the responses. It seems like they're not officially out yet from local retailers?

        • For a $50/60 item why would you even bother with a local retailer if for warranty or whatever.

Global ROM isn't out yet but 95% of it is in english.

    • Are those much better than this? I used to have the band 5 but lost it last week and I was used to the Zepp app.

    Is this Xiaomi or Amazfit?

    • Amazfit watches and fitness trackers are made by Huami, which is a public company funded by Xiaomi as part of its broad ecosystem.

So kind of like Fitbit being owned by Google I guess? but perhaps a bit more tenuously related

I would remove 'Xiaomi' in the title. It's kind of misleading.

so, is this better than Xiaomi miband 7?

  • -7

I only buy "made in Oz" products

  • Have there been any changes to the touch sensitivity/management on this? I have the Band 5 and while I like its smart notifications and long battery life, it drives me mad when I'm doing a workout and a lot of my touches will pause the workout. I've also sometimes somehow triggered activities while asleep.

  • Also Huawei Watch GT 3 SE 46 mm Smartwatch - Graphite Black $178.99 with 10$ voucher from mobileciti is it a good price?

  • Is this a decent band guys…?

I used to have the band 5 but lost it last week and I was used to the Zepp app.
