RRP on these Tambours new is $650 for 900mm & $750 for 1200mm

          @[Deactivated]: I am just explaining the downvotes. If GnarlyKnuckles is mistaken about "$7 keys" it might then be best to correct them. Personally, their comment gave me the impression that keys are available for an additional $7 and I think most would interpret this similarly.

            @makeyouryear: No we don't offer keys with any of our products this is why we write it in descriptions on Oz Bargains and also written on our webpage. I believe our local locksmith cuts keys for $7 each but this is not a service we provide.

    I have had customers ask what they cost new- its only there for people that want to know, if the information isnt relevant for you please ignore instead of attack.
    Nothing is defective either the doors still fully function.

      Based on that response, I assume you think that a front door to your home that still opens/closes but is no longer able to be locked/unlocked is fully functioning?
      I have no issue with the sale of defective/pre-owned office furniture, but your response is a bit odd for a retailer. I think the ACCC may disagree with your interpretation.

        Missing keys is fairly common for 'ex office' furniture. Unlike a front door I'd say in a home setting many people find no need to lock these. Despite the miscommunication in the comments the deal itself seems clear enough. While it does annoy me when retailers quote fantasy RRP's, in this case it seems realistic (for new) and you have enough information to discount that number as you see fit given they're pre-owned and without keys.

          @makeyouryear: I think most people who buy things with a lock would typically want to have the ability to use that lock, and would regard the ability to lock as being part of the thing's function.

    I've bought from these guys before and they are helpful and the gear in good second hand condition. I think it's good to quote the retail price because proper office furniture, not Kmart stuff, is very expensive. People don't realise the difference in cost between 12mm and 20mm shelving and furniture. Proper castors vs crappy plastic ones. My office chair was a real bargain. And lock without a key is not defective. You just don't have the key. Most keyed office furniture will have a key code on the face and you can get them cut for a few dollars
