  • No OLED huh

      Lol not for that price.

      • do they even have 4k 144hz oled in 32 inch?

        • They will next year starting at $1500 USD

  • +20

Hard sell given its $190 more than the last deal. Tempted but no.

  • +6

Not good compared to last deal BUT still good compared to other 32inch 4k 144hz out there.

  • +8

Got it for $500 from the last deal. Might be better holding off for a lower price.
No complaints at all. Though in the beginning my unit had a strange pixel burn in/shadow effect when displaying on grey backgrounds.
After playing around with the settings/ updating firmware, it seems to be fine now.

    • +3

Yeah if it was $500 again I would jump on it as I need a new monitor.

    • have dell 27" 4K so I can wait for a $500 deal to upsize.

    • They do get burn in/image retention but its pretty hard to notice most of the time.

    • How did you update firmware?

  • +4

Have one from the last deal for my new 4k build. Dont regret the purchase one bit.

    • same, super solid monitor work or gaming. not upgrading any time soon!

Been looking at Dual 27" WQHD for mainly productivity/work but with the odd bit of gaming. Anyone have opinions either way on 27 WQHD vs 4k 32 for productivity ? I am aware of the gaming limitations :P or should I say expense of video cards to drive 4k.

    • I have both monitors connected to my work pc: A 32" 4k 60hz and a 27"1440p 280hz in portrait. When I want to play games I rotate the 27" and push the 32" to the side. Best of both worlds.

      • +2

Yep actually thats even more perfect was just thinking about that. Need that portrait mode for reddit, oops code reviews.

Just get this one. You can always put it in 1080 or 1440 mode on windows if your card cant deliver 4k on gaming. Then switch back to 4k with scaling for productivity. One monitor to rule them all :-)

You obviously cant do the reverse if you only have qhd.

    • For productivity I'd go the 32 and it's better for having multiple windows open side by side etc.

Got mine from the last deal - love the monitor. Coming from a 32” 60hz 4k I love the extra frames, much smoother

    • Are you getting the 4k 144hz? My usb-c dock supports only 4k at 60hz. I was thinking to try using a usb-c to Display port to unlock 144hz on 4k.

      • My work laptop via cheapy Usb-c dock & HDMI I think is only 4K 30hz :(
Getting 4K @ 144hz via DisplayPort to my main gaming PC which was my main reason for this

      • +1

work laptop is going through a USB—C dock -> HDMI and I get 4k 60Hz there

gaming PC is going through DP and gets full 4k 144hz

One thing that's tempting me is that brightness of 400-600cd/m2.

Coming from the https://www.viewsonic.com/au/products/lcd/VX3276-2K-MHD-2 - I love the bigger size of 32" monitors, had no problem with the QHD resolution but have found the low brightness/weaker colours a big sticking point (ViewSonic say the monitor is notionally 250cd/m2).

Similarly I also have a https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-27-monitor-s2721ds/apd/… - and have no problem with that except its small 27" size. I find I do 90% of my work on the 32" because it's just physically bigger. Even though when I use the 27" for movies I find it heaps better (brighter and more vivid colours).

Running one from the last deal - overall good monitor

  • +2

Thanks, loving my monitor and was able to apply the 30 Days Price Guarantee (After Purchase) to match this price

  • I just want a good screen fir me ps5 before mw3 comes out

  • +2

Swear by this monitor. If your gfx card can handle 4k or you are hooking up a console, this is a great monitor with hdr 600nits from memory.

I have been using this Dell G3223Q monitor everyday since last deal ($490).
Pro: Good monitor for general usage, and great for gaming.
Cons: Colour accuracy is not as good as Apple Studio Display and other Dell UltraSharp series.

    • Is the contrast ratio good enough for movies/youtube?

      • Not even comparable to S2721QS

  • Will defs get the MiniLED itch down the road so I'll wait patiently for a good deal for one of those.

    • You might be waiting a while if you're wanting mini-led with similar spec and price to this panel. I suspect resale values will stay alright on these displays if an upgrade down the line is a consideration.

  • Is there a 27" version of this monitor with 4k @ 144mhz? I need something that would work well with the ps5 but shares the same physical height dimension of my aw3821dw so I can have them placed side by side.

Can anyone confirm physical height of the actual screen (excl stand) in cms please?

  • +1

    42cm, just measured mine

    • aw3821dw is about 39.5cm. Wonder if a 2.5cm difference is obvious once placed side by side :(

      • +1

        1.25cm either side, maybe?

        • genius not sure why i didn't think of it that way :P

  • After some deliberation – I’ve decided the best way about it is just to replace my AW3821dw with 2 of these, so I can still be member of #ultrawidemasterrace, retaining productivity gains while having better compatibility for console gaming. What’s the colour consistency across the G3223Qs, anyone with more than one care to comment? I’ve had a decent experience with Dell, I had 2x U2711Ds back in the day and they were very similar. Also does anyone have pics to share of their dual G3223Q setups? Which monitor arm is recommended? I’m heavily leaning towards this AVLT on amazon as it allows side by side and stacked.

  • Did anyone get theirs DOA from the last deal?

Mine is powering on but its not showing any display, I've troubleshot it, looked up solutions online, but I have seen others who had this monitor received it DOA

I've been sitting on it for a while as I needed to upgrade my PC to support it, now that I have and plugged it in, pretty disappointing to see it not work.
I don't have the box for it still either the wife chucked it out.

    • I still have the box if you want them. Let me know.
