Chief Nutrition - 12pk of Beef Bars for $44.95 ($20 off) + Free Shipping

DANC20DANCSHIP

Good afternoon,

TLDR I love these bars I was able to negotiate a decent deal for the Ozbargain community - use both codes for $20 off and free shipping

I've been putting some hours at work recently and often finding myself reaching for high carb/sugary snacks when I'm working late. Started looking for something healthier and heartier (and for me, that means high protein/meat, lol)

Found Chief Beef and I'm hooked. Awesome flavour, not 'sweet' (to be fair, my wife is not a fan) and I'm keen to get more - I saw they had an affiliate program ($10 off each way for new users + referrer) - I reached out to them and told them I'd be happy to forgo my $10 if they made it $20 off.

A few back and forth later, they've opened it up to all people (not just new) and thrown in free shipping too (you have to use both codes). I get nothing out of it, except for the fact that I can use the code to purchase more bars for myself haha.

The DANC20 code works for 12 Pack of Beef Bars (and others?) and stacks with the free shipping too. The DANCSHIP works side-wide I believe, including the smaller sample packs for those who'd prefer to try.

Product Info:

    Sooo.. jerky?

    • Yea, but a lot less chewy. They do their own Jerky if you like that… you can get that in the sample pack (along with the bars). I've not tried it though. This bar are better for me on the run/portion size + jerky is usually so high in sugar it's a joke.

The label even says "Like Jerky In A Bar".

Ingredients: Organic Grass-fed Beef (80%), amaranth flour, cranberries, coconut aminos, vinegar, salt, spices (paprika, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, nut meg), lactic acid.

Ingredients seem legit. I'm not entirely sure how the last 20% is made up from those ingredients, but they all look decent.

  • Keen to hear what people's price point for purchasing this would be (for those who feel it's too $$). So I can come back for feedback and try and negotiate another deal (when I run out of my current stock lol)

Cheers OP for creating this opportunity, it is much appreciated! I tried out their range via the sampler pack at the beginning of the year and loved most of it. I've been to a few Ampol servos post sampler purchase to get some single protein bars, they retail around $6/bar (once had a servo cashier confused and thought it scanned incorrectly cause the price was so high for a single bar) so with the current deal of ~$3.75/bar delivered in these trying times, cant really complain.

I bought a box at this price anyways to keep on hand. But I would buy them a lot more if they could get it down to ~$3.50 a bar. That being said, I don't usually buy any protein bars in general due to their high cost per unit so its not like I'm giving money to a cheaper competitor at the moment.

    Thanks for the effort op!
$40-$45 looks like a sweet spot in comparison with other protein type of bars.

    Giving this a go

Great work. Meat equals health. I'm a big fan of Dr Paul Saladino so this is fits well in my family's needs. The liver tablets need to get a bit better on bang for buck, maybe that can be your next deal…. thanks
