Cool concept and great price. Pity I have enough power banks at the moment.
Future version with 3 usbc 1x lightning cord built in would be great.
Very few things have micro USB anymore except cheap toys.

    • Having lightning would be more like a 'back to the future' version.

      • Isn't lightning what apple chargers are called or is that the old fat ones?

It's the connector they used until they were dragged kicking and screaming into using the one everyone else uses.

With the amount of cables I've had die, I don't know how much I trust chargers with built in cables.

    • This. I have an iWalk one and the Lightning doesn't work.

    • I know it happens, but in decades of owning a huge number of different cables for different devices I've only ever had one fail. And it was a 6 month old HDMI cable last year.

I struggle to think what people do to break so many.

    Cactus here

These are pretty decent for what they are. They have the basic safety stuff you'd expect and perform as you'd expect…nothing crazy or such.

Around 13000-14000mAh was what I measured, which is pretty typical for cheaper banks like these. They use flat cell lipo batteries which are usually terrible idea for battery banks, but this is such low power you can get away with it. Don't expect this to have as many charge cycles in it's lifespan - if you use it daily I wouldn't expect this to last more than a year or two.

If you handle cables poorly though these might be a skip, they don't have the best strain relief mechanism if you're someone very aggressive or you don't take care of your cables that well.

I wouldn't suggest this as a main power bank, but for 30 bucks it's decent for what it is. Biggest negative is it's also very low on the input side.. You'll need to charge this for around 6-7 hours to juice it up which may be unacceptable for some.

Coupon must have expired/run out as can't see it in the listing.

@SmoothCactus are there any particular power banks you would recommend?
