Have D9, working great from last 2+ years. This is updated version. So I guess it will not disappoint
the firmware on the D9 is superior to the D9 max due to the former receiving a lot more firmware updates. Lots of reports of bugginess from the D9 Max

Decent vacuum bot, bought one on their eBay store in November last year and still going strong. They were taking offers at $300 which stacked with the 22% discount to bring it down to $234 (More discount if you used giftcards). I'm surprised not as many people snapped it up compared to this deal! At this price, it's a no brainer!

How is the suction on carpets?

Had some time to test it out on our tiles, was very pleased with the result! Suction could be more tested on carpets, but was enough for us. It cleaned our living ,dining, kitchen, laundry in 60min, touched every corner of the area.

Was anyone able to setup the device on their app ? I use an iPhone. Unable to go Past the Wifi setup.
Make sure you connect it to 2.4ghz wifi.

Sounds like one solution is to move away from the router until the phone drops back to 2.4ghz. If you have an old spare phone without 5ghz support maybe this could work too?

Admittedly I'm a complete newcomer to robot vacuums in general, so it's probably my fault, but if you have anything expensive that sits on the floor, geofence the area around it immediately. This vacuum scratched the everloving tits out of my $600 PC case.
I assumed that lidar functionality meant that it didn't need to facehug the hell out of everything, but I guess I was wrong. Lesson learned, I guess.
Just got delivered, initial impressions are really good.
I set it up successfully in the Mi app and it started to clean but I can't see the device in the app. I have tons of other Mi devices which are showing up in the app but not the vacuum cleaner, any idea?
nevermind, installed dreamehome app (instead of MiHome) and it's working beautifully!

Just received mine, it doesn't come with a AU plug, not a deal breaker. Will test it after charging.
Strange, mine came with an AU plug included inside the box. Can't imagine what would explain the discrepancy, unless they cleared out their AU stock and are reaching into EU stock, which sounds very unlikely.
I was surprised too. But I have plenty of fig 8 spare cables so didn't really bother. Mine registered in the app seamlessly too. Still charging. Will do the first run this evening, see how it does.
