Original Post: D-Link $20 Cashback Link. Officeworks King St Melbourne is listing this modem for $86. I got them to beat CPL which is selling for $80. With 5% price match, the final price came down to $76. D-Link is having a $20 cashback promo running until end of September. That will make $56 for the cost of this modem router.

MOD: Price Match is Not a Deal. Change title + change URL to point to CPL + adding the cashback link to the main content.

      No hassles with the cashback deal at all but pricematch "deals" usually get deleted. Looks like it's been fixed now, crisis averted!

  Does anyone have any reviews or comments on this unit? Dick Smith reviews seem pretty good:

  But I know many are not fans of D-Link modems. On paper it seems much the same as the TPLink one for $72 earlier (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/78961) so $56 sounds pretty cheap!

    My 2730B crashes from time to time and forgets its SSID. My iOS devices won't connect to it if WPA is switched on. A lot of issues. Don't risk it.

    does this one have USB? The TP-Link one has USB and Centrecom is selling it for $72 as well.

    I picked up one of these from msy about 3 weeks ago. So far it's been stable and provides a solid wireless connection for 7 concurrent devices. DDNS wasn't working , but I updated to the latest firmware and it was resolved. I believe mine is revision F? From memory there are 3 different revisions. Can't comment on the other ones.

  I would go for a Netgear DGN 2200 if I can find one under $60.
