    What about warranty tho?

    • +8

      Assume there is no warranty.

  • +1

    No shot

  • +6

    Include GST too..
    Too risky, pass

  • +4

This store has so many items that seem waay too cheap. I think too good to be true, smell a big scam here

    • +3

Yeah, they're also selling 4090s for $2k lol when everyone else is selling them for $2.7k+

      • +1

Wow this is very good….really true? can't wait to see my money parted from me!

      • I got one for 2k, had to pay $300 for customs but still heaps cheaper than elsewhere

  • +3

Be good if anyone local did a high end GPU deal. Stale competition right now.

  • Maybe Italy is the new Nigeria? ;)

    • +1

Probably right. I tried selling something on Facebook marketplace and had at least 5 fake accounts from Italy message asking me to accept payment then organise postage via some link.

      • Mamma mia, disgraceful!

    • Italy has always been a scam location for eBay. Nothing new.

    • No, Italians are the orignal princes, lol…

  • +1

oof… this is at least $500 cheaper than anything local. Too good to be true but it is covered by eBay's money back guarantee. If you're willing to park your $$ for a bit then it could be a big payoff if it actually arrives and is what it is

    • What's the risk of them just mailing you a tomato and the protections not covering it?

      • Record yourself opening the package.

      • +4

At least it’s Italian tomatoes? 🍅

    • I’d place an order for XFX at Scorptec, they have ETA of yesterday, lol
But i just got 6950 XT and pretty happy with it. Benches on par with 7900 XT, almost

  • +4

U have to pay custom fee right?

  • +9

I saw these cheap Italian graphic cards yesterday, and reviewed his listings, 100% scam. Seller just put hundreds cheap graphic card on his store suddenly, 4090 only $19xx, what a joke.

No worth to try even eBay has money back guarantee.

    • +1

I saw these yesterday as well from the same seller. I didn't have time to check the store but, yeah, it definitely felt too good to be true. Hundreds cheaper than the next cheapest RTX 4080 for example

    • +2

How do you know the mafia didnt just steal a GPU truck and are selling them through this ebay haha

      • +2

Then I demand a free Steam key of Mafia II: Definitive Edition or gtfo

        • Yeah I'd be doing that too but they will make me an offer I can't refuse…

    • What part of the review you did proves a scam though? I checked the ebay reviews and there's none that are showing negative.

      • is it possible that they bought ebay accounts

    • The 4090 is what stands out. The rest are normal after import and duty, nothing special. But with the 4090 that's like 15% cheaper than local stock after all the import fees

  • If something looks to good to be true it usually is, even if it was legit you run into return and warranty issues assuming any problems. Yeah nah thanks.

  • Seller does have excellent feedback and seems to have been selling computer gear for a while, but even if it's legit, you have to go through importation hassles and pay fees, and then there's the notoriously slow and unreliable Italian postal system.

Would pull the trigger on this if it was local as well.

    • +1

AU$899 at checkout, definitely not a deal.

  • +1

These guys are a legit store in Italy and can be found on google and even have images of the store itself. Seeing as their listings on Amazon have high prices, I believe they made an oopsie with the currency as the price of this item is very close to the price in EUR on their website minus 10% for GST. I still wouldn't buy these tho.

  • Super keen on a 7900xtx anyone know of a Aus deal close to this??(my 1080ti is begging for retirement)

    • +1

Due to the currency fall… All AMD card rised $100 after July. I end up to get 4080….

    • +1

Best deal on 7900XTX right now is the Hellhound at PCCG at $1599 (if you can even call it a deal)

The whole GPU market right now is fooked.

  • +2

Haha the absolute state of GPU shoppping right now. I'd happily drop 1k on something that gives performance for the price, warranty, 20+GB VRAM and a preference for local stock but nah the whole industry is just crapping on us at this point.

    • +2

Been like that for years now though.

    • +1

ain't gonna stop if people keep paying to be crapped on

  • This could be legit. Seller could have made a pricing error. I've sent a message to ask. The shop certainly has enough reputation to be legit. If you get the cheapest 4090 shipped, which is like ,2050 posted, after duties and gst that's still almost $2400. It's not exactly the deal people think it is.

  • +1

So assuming this is legit, after taxes and delivery, it’s $1480? Coupled with questionable warranty, I’m not sure if it’s worth it.

    • Not 'questionable warranty', should definitely assume 'No warranty…… providing an actual legit card is shipped out in the first place'…

  • I can't believe there's a store that doesn't have any negative review. It looks so stupid.

    • And you can see most of feedbacks are at a fixed time, like June.

  • +2

Is there another price gouging or stock shortage going on for 7900 xt and xtx? Can not find any good local deals on these cards.

    • +1

I think the AUD dropping in the last few months has contributed to the price rise for these cards. Not sure if this is the entire answer but it has hurt lately

  • No way josé

  • Hard to believe people are even considering this deal.

  • NO SHOT.

EBAY do not have to honour price protection any more since june 2023 on imports.]

This same GPU was 1399 on fathers day..pay another 100 bucks and get it local, don't be a (profanity)

    • +1

which retail was selling for $1399 ? I been eyes on 7900xtx models for a month, never seen this low

  • +4

For the people who jumped in to buy, please update us.

  • +1

You’ll prolly have to pay duty and customs so the price would end up being either the same or higher than local prices, been stung too many times buying goods overseas over the duty free threshold

  • Once you pay duty and other fees you maybe save like $80… Not worth it imo.

  • This is legit, I bought an RTX 4090 from them and it arrived in a week. Note that I had to pay 15% import duty to FedEx which was just uploading my ebay invoice and paying via link they sent me.

    • Nice! How much was it with all the fees included?

      • $2311

        • $2311 vs $2499. Decent saving, but nothing crazy.

  • Hey @Carrian the 'deal' is back.

    E.g. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/195983998221 and https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/195984003995

Not sure if you want to repost or unexpire this.
