Managed to pick up a S23 128GB for $634.60 this morning. Details below.

Instructions

Download trade up app on your trade-in device, when going through the checks, tell it that the screen is cracked. Depending on the device, it will say the trade-in value is $1. After going through this, you'll get the trade in voucher.

Obtain the newsletter and the loyalty voucher.

Add the phone to cart. The trade-in bonus will not appear until adding item to cart. This is also where you input the loyalty and newsletter voucher.

$50 Newsletter voucher through here(shop.samsung.com)

10% off Loyalty Code by emailing [email protected]. Alternatively call 1300 362 603, select option 9 on first screen, then option 4 on second screen, and explain to the rep that you want the loyalty discount.

The loyalty voucher is 10% off the price after trade-in discounts and before the $50 newsletter.

Ask for the 10% loyalty bonus because you're trading in, the 15% bonus will not stack.

      How much did you end up paying, if you don't mind me asking?
      The prices have gone up it seems… there is no more discount($250) on the RRP of $1449…so Trade-in discount and coupons are being deducted from $1449 instead of $1199.. this is for S23 256GB.

          Good on you… I just checked and $250 discount has been pulled from S23. The S23+ still shows the $250 discount..
          Tried online chat and the agent said that the $250 off on S23 has ended…

              @lemonccm: Yup, I'll have to sit it out. Already bought one for me, second one was for the Mrs. Missed out the buds 2 glitch too… I had it in the cart but got distracted by the kids!
              Was coming out to be $611 for S23 256GB and Buds 2.

    So I was able to get this done with all 3 discount codes.

    My story all along was "I am looking to purchase a new phone, I read online there is a X discount code, can I please be sent one?"

    1. Contacted samsung online chat for a $100 discount code (They did this no questions asked).
    2. Signed up to the newsletter for $50
    3. Used the trade in app on an old samsung. Chose "headphones" and "other" as the brand (I read a previous comment that they had just bought a cheap $10 pair of headphones from the reject shop and sent it back to samsung). - $300 discount ($1 security charge).
    4. After calling samsung as per OP, I was told to email [email protected] for a loyalty code. After a few back and forth emails (asking about the trade in and an IMEI) they sent me through the code within 1-2 hours.

    I added all discount codes to the cart which all applied.

    Throughout the purchase workflow, I noticed that the $50 would remove itself from the cart.
    I had to go back to the start, remove it and then re add it.
    No need to clear cache/change browser.

    Took 3 tries but eventually worked with all 3 codes successfully applied.
    Purchased the s23 128gb for $763.50

    Hope this helps.

      I get "You cannot proceed with Trade-in as the Trade-ID is invalid." when i enter the trade in code for headphone :( . An idea .

        Hmm i didnt come across that one.
        Sounds like you maybe didnt complete the full trade in process?

        Did you get an email confirmation of thw trade in with the trade in ID?

        maybe just try a new trade in to generate another ID

          Funny you say about email. The Tradeup app displayed the Trade ID but i never got an email .
          Did you select store option or online for trade in .

    The RRP discount is no more and the trade-in bonus has been reduced today.

    I ended up ordering an S23+ (256GB | 8GB) yesterday for $808.20 using the 10% loyalty voucher, $100 discount voucher, and the $50 newsletter voucher (in that order).
    Did it through the Cashrewards app after I got the Trade-in ID ("Other" brand - "Headphones").

    Has anyone had issues where after sending old device back Samsung has contacted saying its not in adequate condition therefore we are charging you bull shit fees $X etc?

    Traded in an s20 that had a screen protector and lived in its case its whole life, it was in matching condition to their requirements now they are hitting us with nonsense fees.

    About to contact them in attempts to resolve.
