Dynamic digital screen that displays a wealth of data

So I assume it can't show my bank balance then?

Note that the glass scratches pretty easily, so you might also want to pick up a screen protector on eBay. It's one of the reason why Withings re-released these watches in a Sapphire crystal signature edition. https://blog.withings.com/2019/05/20/press-praise-steel-hr-s…

    • Or if you can wait, measure the diameter of the glass and get a bulk pack from aliexpress.

The glass feels like something in-between plastic and glass and doors scratch really easily.

Also withings watches tend to "undercount" steps compared to your usual Fitbit/miband etc. Depending on how you get your steps in everyday, it could be up to thousands difference.

I found reviews from 2018…so 5 years old.

Just a heads up, it's a frustrating watch to use. It has only one button to navigate the functions, via short or long press,no touch screen. I use the timer function a lot and ended up ditching this watch.

Also due to the dome shape of the glass, its hard to read the watch because it reflects every light source in sight.

I had a withings watch and liked it but it’s worth understanding that this is a fitness tracker that looks and acts like an analogue watch, not a smart watch.

I've had the Steel HR for 3 and a half years and it's great, definitely not really a smartwatch but being able to read notifications and the 3 week battery life is awesome

  • Image 7 is like a scene out of Stranger Things

Agree that this scratches easily and can be cumbersome to use the “smart” features from the button t rather than the app, but it is the only game in town if you want a discreet watch that also does notifications etc.

The multi-week battery life is great, the silent alarm is good, step count accurate enough and sleep tracking is a bonus.
With setup you can control notifications - I have calls and SMS only.

    Good value at this price.

Have a withings watch currently. Moved from apple watch.

Realised I valued long battery life more than a bunch of features I never used.

Just need my smart watch to show important notifications, a bit of fitness tracking and sleep tracking.

My wife has bought me one for an upcoming birthday. I’ll keep my Apple Watch, but I’ve asked for this to allow me to be less connected at times- not fully, but a lot more than I have been for the last 10 years….

    • same here. i moved to a Garmin venu 2 plus. not 25 days like a withings watch battery but 5-7 days is what i get and i am so relieved to not be changing my smartwatch every night. i can actually see my sleep data and not be bothered about charging
