• Lower price available here, sold from Amazon Japan with estimated 1 month delivery time

Sorry but this isn't a deal.

    It's $411.73 delivered through Amazon Japan and 255s $393.75

      Thanks, updated description!
While I don’t want to peddle more “not the best” deals, Syd and Melb marathon are approaching soon. Since Rebel offers faster pick up than JP imports, this version might interest some runners

    • Great find. Wonder how come Amazon JPY don’t sell 265S though…

    • Just letting others know I was able to price match Amazon in-store at Rebel and purchase it for $411. I did contact Rebel over the phone and they told me they were unable to price match Amazon JP but worked in store.

Just a heads up, I got my 255 from Amazon Japan a few weeks ago and it took 9 days from order to be delivered to regional NSW.

  • I mainly use my Samsung watch to track running and listen to spotify. I am in the Samsung ecosystem but is this watch better for those things?

I moved from a Samsung Gear S3 to Garmin. Happy to move on from needing to recharge my Samsung every second day, to every 10-15 days on my Garmin Fenix 6X Pro. If all you need is tracking and listening to Spotify, I say pull the trigger on a Garmin for the additional benefit of battery life.

Garmin's appstore is pretty crap though. That is usually the first thing you'll notice when switching. And screen isn't as bright or sharp. Concessions need to be made for the long battery life.

265 sorts out the screen issue. But bad app store and clunky menus are my only complaints. It's the first smartwatch I'll keep for more than a year.

I got lucky price matching the amazon japan deal, then used 10% gift cards from the entertainment book. Love the watch.

    • I might give this a go today! Any tips on how you successfully managed to get the price match?

  • I asked if they price matched Amazon before showing them the deal. You know your in for a rough time if they say no to price matching amazon. Baby bunting is a classic case where store to store is a different answer.

    • Thanks mate! Will give this a go later this morning.

    • bummer no luck with my local Rebel - apparently Amazon buys in bulk so they don't price match..

That’s disappointing, for next time it might be worth calling a few rebel sports within your area to see who price matches amazon before heading to the store.

        • Thanks for the tip mate - took a fair bit of effort but managed to get rebel to reluctantly pricematch Amazon. Called Macquarie and they were happy to price match but didn’t have any stock, then went to the next nearest store with stock and they were ok to price match as an exception. They mentioned it’s import version so usually wouldn’t be able to, but given Macquarie said ok they honoured it.

That's a cop-out. Rebel buys in bulk too. What store doesn't lol?

They should have just gone their usual route and refused on the grounds that the watch is a Japanese variant
