    Great post, thanks.

  • What is the file size?

  • File size is 50MB

  • +1

no WinPE, only Linux bootable disk

  • +3

Yep, no WinPE. Considering Linux has minimal issues with hardware compatibility, it's not a big deal. Gets the job done either way.

  • So you get the key how?
Or can you install this with no key?

  • +3

    No key needed, just install.

    • Fine. Does it have to be installed by a certain date?

      • +3

No, just download and install whenever you need it. As I have said, just a giveaway, no strings attached.

        • I think we're all used to being told "no strings" when there is in fact plenty o' string.

          So far so good, thanks.

        • +6

Yeah, tell me about it, we deal with lots of "them ones" that have been "stringed" in one way or another. I just don't get it why is it so difficult to just be honest and down to earth. It will just do you good, nothing else.

        • -2

It's very trusting, all it takes is one person to "share" it on torrents etc…

  • seems to install fine, havent booted yet. thanks

  • Can you get free updates or is 9.1.1 it?

    • According to the edition comparison, only the Technician Edition has Free Lifetime upgrades

  • Great deal , thanks

The company offers the Home Edition for free but that is not a bootable verion, which feature is very important if your MBR or partition becomes corrupt:
    http://www.partition-tool.com/personal.htm

In the past they offered a free bootable version, but it appears they've stopped that:
    http://www.partition-tool.com/easeus-help.htm

I personally use MiniTool Partition Wizard as my Windows based partition manager and it works really well for me. I've been using it for years:
    http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html

    • Correct comment(s). Yes they did offer the free version and you could've created your own WinPE BootCD, providing that you had installed WAIK. With the recent changes (Microsoft), EaseUs as well as lots of other software developing companies have stopped offering WinPE BootCD, due to redistributable license. Yes, Partition Wizard is a great tool as well. Last time I checked it out (about 2~3 weeks ago) it had issues with Win7 x64. Resizing and merging partitions resulted in corrupted boot sector. Each to their own, as long as it does the job, it makes no difference to me whether is this or that software, OS …

    • Thanks for the tip on Partition Wizard. Downloading their free edition now.

  • The Dropbox account is suspended due to traffic.. :(

  • I Just get a bandwidth error, I guess it proved a little too popular.

    Error (509)
This account's public links are generating too much traffic and have been temporarily disabled!

I will provide a new link in few minutes. I guess people have been hammering it big time. I got over 26GB transfer data in just 3 Hrs. I have emailed EaseUs and waiting on new link from them. In the meantime, use the temporary link from my SkyDrive account.

  • me too bandwidth error. Mistake clicked REP

  • New download link is up. All you have to do is Right Click—>Download. Lets see how long this one will last :) I'm waiting on email from Bennie - EaseUs

  • Just a heads up, looks like you need a Microsoft account (hotmail/Live etc) to access MS Skydrive downloads.

  • cheers

  • I was a little hesitant about trying a program called EaseUS when it has no connection whatsoever with the US (it's a Chinese software), but I must say it worked where other similar software like MiniTool failed. This is worth getting.

    • Hey CueBirdy, how did Mini Tool fail? For me it has always worked fine but the Rep also said it failed them.

Not sure if it has a common problem or not. In the past I used version 6 but their newer version is out and I just installed it which I fear might be the problem version now.

      • Minitool (latest version from their website) did not work on Windows 8, there was some error message when trying to run it. But EaseUS worked fine on Windows 8.

Although Windows 8 is not officially released yet, the preview version had been around for half a year, any company that has not made their software compatible with it by now is just plain sloppy.

        • Thanks, well that is a bit tardy but since I don't use Windows 8, I am all good.

I don't suppose you were using a Creative product when Vista came out, now that was dreadful.

UPDATE: After 9 hours of posting the Giveaway we got around 2000 clicks and over 50GB of data transfer. I have provided temporary links for download, but it appears that the high traffic caused the links to be inactive. I have emailed EaseUs and waiting on response from them. As soon as they provide me with hosting link I will update the blog post. Thank you for participating and your patience. Stay tuned!

MODS: if the post needs to be marked as expired, please advise.

      50GB in 9 hours isn't much…

  • +1

Please let us know when you' reactivate this. I I only just remembered this now after it went down when I got home

  • +1

Seems dead and gone now (down for over 8 hours)

    ;(

  • +2

Damn, looks like I missed out.

    • link still active, dont just run to the top and bottom expecting to find it =s

      its in the middle somewhere

  • Dang no links now. Looks like I'm too late :( I really like the Partition Master program as I used the free one previously with limited features.

UPDATE2: New temporary link via Google Drive is available until I get response from EaseUs.

    • Thanks! I was able to get it this time.

  • Can we upgrade this to newer versions later for free, or no?

    • Only Technician Edition has Free Lifetime Upgrade.

  • The downloaded file is 51,226kB and named 0B9krrG6BSVjbMjcteTg3YzhOTnc but not sure what file type it is. How can this software be installed?

    • Default filename should be epmpl9.exe

Try to rename your downloaded file and do a checksum test.

      CRC32: 2204EB6B
      MD5: E1776023E58D2F86E2CA4F4D04FCE770
      SHA-1: 15FFE9DEBCB8DEA08643A391E7C17C5C13A45158

      • Thanks.
