Is this really more premium, of just one of the those brands?

    • Satechi is considered more premium from what i've seen. Imo definitely better than brands like Heymix

        Satechi is considered more premium

        What about Zyron Tech?

        • I have a Zyron tech 100w charger, it makes a buzzing noise at 3a 5v the loudest. They have great support though - would consider Satechi more premium brand

    • Have been using from 7 months, no issues so far

    • It's better. Various models are torn down and reviewed. From what I've seen, they do well in now technical reviews.

As always, read reviews for specific models and look for strange behaviours.

I've got two models - 165w which has been great and a 100w GaN. 100w one seemed to have issues with PPS devices so I ended up getting a refund on it.

      • If you go and read the reviews, the 165w model is their best one. Better than the 6 port 200w one too.

    • Satechi is definitely a good brand for GaN chargers but the 165w model is the best for most people. Around $150~ish depending on the current promo. I have been using 3 of them for a couple of years with no issue at all.

  • I believe the foldable plug is only for the US plug. Not really relevant if the AU adapter is attached.

    • Au plug cant fold, its very uncommon. The plug seems to be fixed

    $99 for one port? Pass

    • Agree.
I have a 140W from Apple. Never used.

  • If maybe it had another port or 2, good deal.
