    Black tapware is most commonly powdercoated or electroplated. I wouldn't think paint would be a perfect fix but maybe the best we've got for touching up tiny scratches?

Hey OP,
There is a small rock chip on my car, that has started to rust. Would this be fine to use on that part of rust then touch up with a paint pen?
Would the rust remove pen damage any of the surrounding paint? I wont want to make the small rust spot a larger and more visible problem.
