Class 10 16GB SD card is about $90 from DSE and much cheaper elsewhere eg around $20 from StaticIce for a Sandisk one.

For the body + single kit lens it's less than $400 everywhere, even at HN.
Plus $120 for the telephoto kit lens, $30 (high side) for a Sandisk Ultral class 10 32GB, you can get $550 everywhere else!

Yeah, I wouldn't say it was a deal. I think I got mine with dual lense with 8GB Class 10 SDHC and extended warranty for about $800 about 18 months ago for my girlfriend. A few months later, harvey norman had the single lense and camera for about $350.
The camera is good for a beginner, but i wouldn't be recommending the DL 1100D with 16GB SDHC for $748 to any friends or family for that price.

I got this camera with single lens for under 400 from HN last year. The tele lens is only about 140. It's definitely not a bargain.
