Worked for me, had a previously lapsed subscription. Thanks!

    • Same

I had paid $4p.m after making an initial purchase, but 6 months later I still was not using it so I cancelled.
But at $20 for 12 months ($1.66 p.m) I can afford to maybe use it one day.
BTW I've l already cancelled the membership, which will stop any further payment after 15 September 2024.
As I have a bad habit of subscribing to something and discovering months or years later that I never cancelled it.
Then sometimes websites such as eBay or OnePass will offer you discounts/vouchers to resubscribe.

have a bad habit of subscribing to something and discovering months or years later that I never cancelled it.

I recommend using disposable/single-use cards for these types of subscriptions if you haven't!
        It'll cancel itself.

  • +2

Tried it with new email and code works and stacks on the free trial. Might be worth getting now for me, thanks!

    • +1

Did you subscribe for free trial along with this offer to get 13 months subscription?

      • Looking for same, did you try?

        • Haven't finalised but the last screen I was on did say I would be charged $20 after the free trial

          • @MeesusEff: so if i'm new, are we able to save that "trial" for later, or is it best to stack it now?

            • @capslock janitor: I don't think you can save the trial, it just brought me to a page that says I'll be charged $20 after the free trial runs out

        • +1

Can confirm it stacks and works. Just went through the free month trial sign up process and entered the code on the checkout page. It says pretty clearly that I will be charged $0 now, charged $20 on 16 Oct 2023 and then charged $40 after 1 year.

      • Haven't finalised but the last screen I was on did say I would be charged $20 after the free trial

        • Is it from a new account? I have old account and can't see free trial option again.

  • +47

Now we just need $20 cashback

    • +11

      This is the OzB way

    • +12

      This is the way

  • Nice

  • +10

Is there any way to stack this on top of an existing sub?

    • +4

Doesn’t look like it works according to one of the comments on the next page.

@cumova cancelled the existing sub but can’t resub until after the current period ends

      boo

  • same email received with same code.

  • Anywhere offering a longer than 1 month trial to stack with this? Think I might finally bite at this price to see if it is worth it for Bunnings.

    • +12

I think free delivery is only on certain items and that's how they trick you into getting it

      • What sort of things would generally be excluded? Is there any way to see what is included/excluded without having Onepass?

        • Not that i know,
All i know is that there was a special on ozbargain and i went to buy it but i couldn't use onepass to ship it for free

        • Its usually anything heavy or unwieldy. Think if you cant carry it comfortably in one hand its probably excluded. You aren't going to be getting free shipping on bags of concrete mix or extension ladders.

        • +10

          For Bunnings OnePass free delivery:

          *Standard parcel dimensions are:
          Max weight 22kgs
          Max length 110cm x height 70cm x width 70cm
          Max dimensions 0.25 cubic metres

For any Flybuys fans be aware of the changes to One pass that gives you 5x points in store. If you shop at Bunnings, Kmart etc a lot like me the $20 per year may be worth it for the flybuys bonus in store, plus free delivery from Catch, etc.

    • +3

how much total spend to breakeven ~$20 worths back ?

      • +12

        ahem $4,000

        • Hmm…. That sounds like a good deal but is it really?

          • +4

@Naigrabzo: I mean, $4k is a lot but between Kmart, Bunnings, Target and Officeworks over 12 months it would be highly possible - especially if you bought a new flagship phone or a laptop through Officeworks

            • +1

@linkindan: I agree it's possible to spend $4k on those stores per year.

              • +55

                @Naigrabzo: Actually, I apologise.
                $4,000 is at the standard 1 point = $1

So it’s actually $800, which is one trip to Kmart according to every girl I know

                • +4

@linkindan: Damn man, nice calcs. Thanks for update.

$800 is more within range. Especially bunners.

                • +36

@linkindan: $800 is 4000 Flybuys points using this deal
But spending $800 already gives you 800 Flybuys points normally. 4000-800=3200 bonus points or $16, not enough to fully cover to the cost of membership.

So to truly break even, you need to spend $1000 to get 5000-1000=4000 bonus points which translates to $20

        • +4

Would be $800 at 5x points

        • +2

If your getting 5 x points and your shopping is solely at the ones listed in the offer, then it would only be $800 and i would imagine if you also have a Coles Mastercard you could stack that with it too to make it only $400?

          • @Bruskey: Yeah, I worked that out already aha

I spent $1k on prepaid Visas this morning so my brain is fried aha

          • @Bruskey: Does it definitely stack with Coles Mastercard bonus FlyBuys?

        • +3

          spits out nescafe 43

        • $20 is 4000 points. With multiplier of, it's 800 points or $800 instore.

    • too bad can't stakc powerpower with flybuy

    • Good point. The 5x Flybuys points means you would make back the normal annual OnePass charge of $40 if you spend $1600 within the year. So, at 50% discount of $20 you'd make that back with only $800 spend over a year. I'd probably spend that in Bunnings alone.

      • You're already earning 1 Flybuys point per dollar without OnePass. You earn an extra 4 points per dollar with OnePass. So you have to spend $1000 in-store across Kmart, Target, OW & Bunnings combined for 1 year to break even with the $20 OnePass Membership.

  • Does this work with the Disney Plus offer? I'm guessing not..

    • +1

It doesn't include it but now that I've got a membership it's giving me an ad to add it on for $15 a month.

If you're willing it's probably more worthwhile looking at this though.

  • Thanks. Worked

Was about to join yesterday, luckily get distracted and didn't finish with the process. thanks OP

  • Thanks OP, signed up :)

  • Thx op

  • Says Promo code is invalid? Do you enter it where is says "promo Code"?

    • +2

Just worked for me - make sure you selected the yearly option and, yep, entered in promo code field.

  • Does this give free delivery when buying planks/sheets of plywood at Bunnings?

    • +6

Suspect it will be excluded i.e. Big & bulky items or orders

    • +4

I added various sized pieces to cart and it said -

This order is not eligible for free delivery because:
The stocked items in your cart exceed our free delivery parcel size.

      Read about OnePass parcel size:

      Standard parcel dimensions are:

      Max weight 22kgs
      Max length 110cm x height 70cm x width 70cm
      Max dimensions 0.25 cubic metres

  • +1

Cheers OP. for $20 - not bad - renewed my lapsed free trial membership. made sure flybuys is linked.

  • Thanks, signed up :)

  • Winner, I was waiting for something like this, thanks.

  • Thanks OP. Had already used my trial and was able sign up with deal.

  • Nice find. Saved 20$

  • Thanks OP, just what I needed

  • Thanks OP - code worked fine.

  • Awesome, thank you! I had a lapsed previous subscription

  • I know this is a tangent… but has anybody been able to decipher whether Officeworks will deliver things that are printed that would normally require pick up / collection? Couldn't figure it out in terms unless that counts as 'personalised items'

    • That’s what the trial is for

  • Thanks mate!!!

  • +1

I couldn't change it to a yearly option in an existing sub.
I could cancel I guess but it will still be active for another 7 days or so in which time this will expire I am sure.
Any other thoughts or do I need to use a different email address etc?
Probably not worth the hassle to be honest.
I probably also need to hand in my Ozbargain license…

    • +4

yeah i had a trial, cancelled it. not letting me sign up until the trial ends. damn.
i do have another flybuys card though…

  • +2

    Free for 30 days
    Cancel any time
$20 for the first year after trial ends
    $40 / year thereafter

The Disney+ bundle is available for existing Disney+ subscribers, but when you try to add Disney for $14.99/month offer will end your free one month trial. So I'll suggest "Maybe Later".

  • +6

    What is onepass?

  • Great deal :)

  • +1

Anyone who uses it actively can say what the benefits are? Never really looked at it. I buy from target every 2 to 3 months

  • +6

One pass is heading to the land of shovelware I have been told that many catch employees are now either made redundant or now employed by the one pass group, with the one pass group losing money hand over fist. Sure it's only $20 but I wouldn't expect more affiliates to join the program.

    • +5

I'm not surprised they would be losing money.
There is quite a lot of people on eBay drop shipping Kmart products.
They would be placing heaps of low values Kmart orders everyday but with a single OnePass account

      • Ahhh, I've noticed a bunch of brand new Kmart kitchen appliances on ebay, usually marked up quite a bit. That explains it.

    • why hand over fist?

  • +4

    What's the benefit?

    • +1

Mainly free shipping from catch, bunnings, target and kmart.

  • +4

did the trial, haven't feel the benefit. only occasional KMART and target. Haven't spent much in bunnings as yet

  • thank you. I have an existing membership, im going to try cancel and do this. Hopefully it works.

    • +2

dont, it doesnt work. you have to wait until it expires. just talked to chat as well.

    • -1

you need to wait until the end of your current billing period before you can re subscribe again….. pretty stupid….

  • +2

To reap the value of this you need to ship at least 5 order in that year which I assume most people don't

    • +7

Most people don't ? My Mrs does a Kmart shop every other day.

      • +4

        what's she buying?

      • Those can be done in store right? So you're basically spending $20 for shipping per year

      • She probably likes to visit Kmart. Online shopping is not the same.

    • Don’t forget about Flybuys dollars

      • +1

What is the flybuys dollars benefit?
