For Kmart stores that offer Click and Collect > Direct to Boot option (which isn't all of them), simply shop as usual on their website, at checkout select Click and Collect > Direct to Boot. You should see the following note if the store supports Click and Collect:

This store offers Direct to Boot.
Get your Click & Collect order delivered direct to you in the comfort of your car. Plus receive 1000 bonus Flybuys Points.
Learn More

Clicking the Learn More button will give you this info:

This store offers Direct to Boot.
Enjoy the convenience of having your Click & Collect order delivered straight to your car.
When you receive an SMS confirming that your order is ready to collect, select Direct to Boot as your preferred collection type. As a bonus, you’ll also receive 1000 bonus Flybuys Points.

I've never seen this before, sorry if it is super old but maybe this will be useful to some people. I know it's not much, but 1000 points = $5 that I otherwise wouldn't have known about.

  I wonder what the benefit is to them to encourage direct to boot. Stores like this already seem to be understaffed, so you would think there would be more benefit encouraging customers to at least come into store and collect from the counter. Also, wouldn't there also be more of a chance of extra sales being made with an instore visit?

    I couldn't tell you the answer to that.

    Maybe they want to get the word out that it can be convenient to shop at Kmart. Or, perhaps the analytical people have determined that when you shop online and not enter the store, customers may spend more on average. Pure speculation on my part. I don't mind though, I'll take the free $5.

  flybuys bonus is very flaky for this kind of promotion unless it is awarded the next day. 4 Weeks waiting BS indicates high chance of none.
