been keeping an eye on flights for months and this is the cheapest i have seen them 😀.

I got my tickets yesterday for nrl grand final weekend and thought i would share the prices i have found. i personally didn't want to stay at the airport overnight so i chose to fly October 1st, in the morning for bit more money. Another thing to note if you wanted to fly back on the Monday it will cost you more so i recommend staying the extra day. Im sure you can find similar prices on the airline site you want to fly with like i did booking directly with Qantas.

Also i really do wish i could do tables like so many of you do posting flight deals but i just don't have the patience to learn

    its a bargain because of it being grand final weekend, and i would assume yes the long weekend would have a toll on prices aswell

        well if companies didn't raise their prices because they know a popular events on, that many people would fly to, than no. but because thats not how the world works and companies do in fact raise there price on specific dates than yes. i have also been keeping an eye on flights for few months for these days and they dropped alot just yesterday. i contemplated not posting this deal as beat that flight usually does it. and now im thinking i shouldn't of because its not worth alot leaving sarcastic comments

    If the same logic is applied to an e-tailer we'd be all over it by screaming Price Hike then giving a discount.

  How's Jetstar's performance in terms of delays and cancellations lately? Think they had been the worst earlier this year. Theoretically per their ticketing rules, they could charge you the high "grand final weekend" fare, then cancel the flights and "put you on the next available flight" which happens to be after the grand final weekend? Given how Qantas (are alleged by ACCC to) have sold tickets for cancelled flights before, this could be a possibility?
