The code ONEPASS20 has been around for ages, so it's obvious it only works for new OnePass sign ups.
thought I was new, maybe I did a trial a while ago, cant remember
Not too obvious to the OP (or myself), apparently.
If you are a new Onepass member and have received this code, do NOT use it. Wait a few more days and they will send you the code ONEPASS30 which gives $30 off $60+ spend.

Yep. $20 off usually arrives 7-10 days after account creation then $30 off follows less than a week later.
And yes I have tried waiting for $40 off or more but unfortunately no luck.
