[iOS] Endel - Free Lifetime Subscription after Making 5 Referrals (Usually $399.99) @ Apple App Store & Endel

830

Right now you can invite 5 people to get a lifetime membership. your referral doesn’t have to submit any kind of financial details for a successful sign-up. So, technically, you can use multiple emails to sign up (or use temporary mail providers for throwaway emails) to grab the lifetime membership.
detailed steps on how to get the deal:
step 1: download app from app store from go to deal link.
step 2: sign-up using your main email. (to the email which you need lifetime subscription linked)
step 3: after signing up you vill see a campaign on top of your screen "spread the chill" or a 🎁 gift card icon on top right of screen next to 👤 icon. click that then you vill be presented with a new screen " Have new people try endel, and get gifts" at the bottom of screen click "Invite Friends" button.
step 4: copy invite link, paste/save it in notepad.
step 5: copy link without text and open safari (or any preferred web browser with incognito/private mode). paste link in private/incognito tab and load the website.
step 6: click "use code", then signup via email,
step 7: get a new throwaway email, enter your temp email in step 6. (you vill get a sign-up code to this email in next step)
step 8: go to endel sign-up page in step 6, sign-up, enter your code, then your name and press enter you vill see a " congrats" webpage. which means you successfully referred a friend.
step 9:close private/incognito endel tab to clear cookies and tempmail website to get your self a new email.
final step: repeat step 4 to step 9 for 4 times.
after doing this for 5 times you successfully referred 5 friends(virtually) and got yourself a lifetime membership of Endel.

question: is this worth my time doing this?
answer:if you gonna question importance of time in a bargain site to get a deal then all of our lives have no meaning jokes aside it’s a nice app, great UI, on par with apps like calm.com. so depends on your personal preferences. I’ve would have paid money to get this deal.

More about the app

Endel is a paid generative music app that creates personalized sound environments (called soundscapes) to match user activities. The app provides preset modes for relaxation, focus, sleep, and moving, and reacts to time of the day, weather, heart rate, and location to create unique compositions.

Tested in ios17.
AFAIK not working in android.

  • So to understand.
    1. Sign up
    2. Refer 5 different email accounts
    3. Sign up with each of the 5 referral accounts for the 14 day trial
    4. Original account gets lifetime license
    5. Close the 5 referral accounts.

Without going through it, does the T&C state that referrals don’t count until after trial? Or will the above work?

    • Probably need 5 devices - 5 credits cards - the 5 email addresses are easy enough.

      • +1

Six actually (the main one too)

      • +2

With the Gmail period trick, don’t even need 5 email addresses.

        • +2

I found if I want to use two periods they cannot be adjacent to each other.

          • +11

@conant: They generally are spaced somewhat apart. Consult your doctor for more information.

  • +2

How do I get invited? Can you be my friend?

    • +1

      FWB

    • +1

You will need to submit your resume.

    • +1

      JV can be your friend.

      • Who is jv?

        • +1

You are on OzBargain and you don’t know who jv is?

        • +2

@jv come on over and intro yourself to viper!

  • +2

Is this the same thing as the free youtube videos?

  • +4

Can confirm it works, no need different devices, just 5 temp email addresses to sign up, then life time subscription immediately granted! Thanks OP! Well done!

    • +1

Only question is what happens to the trial of the 5 throw away email accounts?

    • How long did it take you to do everything (mins)? Sounds tedious and time consuming

      • +1

10 mins from first signup to lifetime.

        • If i die after 10 min of doing this, im blaming you

      • +1

Mine took longer because the app kept saying that I had 1 friend who accepted.

I had to restart the app and number progressed.

        • +1

yup, had a similar experience. Bit of delay between sign ups and updates on the main account. Took me about 15-20 mins to do it.

    • Same here, can confirm this worked

  • +1

    thanks OP got free lifetime.
No need to submit card details for other accounts, they will use your unique code to sign up and that’s about it and once lifetime activated make sure to cancel your free trial.
Although the app is very nice that it warns you to cancel your subscription to avoid charges.

    • Do all the 5 referrals needs to be in iOS?

      • No can sign up via browser

        • Do you have to cancel the trial on the throw away accounts?

          • +1

@ViperMaveric: No, they aren’t signing up to a free trial in the same way as the primary. They’re just getting 2 weeks free from the code.

There’s also nothing connecting them to your payment info.

        • +1

I found browser via private mode worked best. Did signups using the app on the one device and they didn’t seem to count for me from what I could tell. Did it again on my desktop browser using private sessions and it worked fine that time.

Didn’t see any immediate feedback that it had worked but went into the account management and saw lifetime was applied after the 5th. Then canceled the App Store billing just to be case as that was still there and scheduled to bill in a weeks time for the original account.

    • No need to activate free trial for this. Just press the X at the top right when it asks and skip that part

    • Theres no cancel subscription button
Only shows expires in 2 weeks

  • I was having a bit of trouble with after using the referral once; it came up saying that the promo code was already used?
Anybody have this experience and know how to trouble shoot? Very much appreciated

    • +2

It’s tracking you via cookies. Create a new tab in private browsing and try again.

  • +1

By the way, you can use the gmail trick to get 5 accounts.

Also, is it just me or the sound are all the same? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

  • +7

To anyone feeling bad about taking advantage of this: they know and don’t care.

This helps them juice their user count to make an acquisition/IPO more attractive.

    • Also:

"Use the free version of Endel with no time limits.

Skip the payment screen by tapping “X” in the top-right corner. The Free Edition of Endel will start automatically. It differs from the full version in the limited set of available soundscapes and the lack of background mode feature. Otherwise, the functionality of the modes available in the free version is not limited in any way compared to the full version. In addition, you can use Endel Free Edition without time limits."

And then when it's taken over - bam the lifetime subscription ends - like flight radar and taltalk

    • any news of potential acquisition? I guess endel is still a startup. I guess enjoy it while we can, nothing lasts forever

  • Nice. Really like the app so this is great

this is my first post. moderators please delete, if this post violates any site rule.

Are my posts immune to mods' actions if I don't inculde that line?

    Great post, OP. Thanks.

  • Sweet! I would’ve probably paid for this app tbh.

    • +1

You’d pay $400 for an app? It’s a bit pricey!

      • Maybe not the full price, may be up to $50.

      • Prob annual sub. But don't need to now :)

  • +3

Thanks OP, it appeared to work on my end going through via private browser. Just used the following to get a temp email address https://temp-mail.org/en and then clear browser history and wash and repeat x 5 signing up through the differing accounts.

    • So the five referrals can join on the website, no need to do it through the app? And they don't need to add payment info or anything like that?

      • Yep, that’s correct. I downloaded the app and signed in using my main account. Copied the referral link into a private browser tab, created a new account, no payment method required, repeated the process 4x over and it upgraded my main account. No payment details required for any of the 6 accounts, no app sign-in required for the 5 dummy accounts.

        • And is the app worth that bother?

          • +2

@AustriaBargain: I've being using it over the last day while working at my desk and can say I feel I have received benefit from it and was worth it for me.

  • +4

Beautiful writeup as first post from Desiguy. 👏

  • Thank you OP

  • This seems to only work if you've never accessed the trial before. Sadly I have and I only have the option to sign up for a paid month.

  • Thank OP got it….

  • Get the lifetime account thanks.

  • Cheers OP!
    Now to find some tabs..

  • Thanks OP, for the detailed instructions; it works!

  • It works. Thanks

    Thanks OP

The free membership no longer works. It shows that 5 friends joined but only the 50% option shows up now (what they offer for 3 friends).

    • Yeah same happened here… "magically" disappeared the option after 5 "friends" joined :/

      • this means that it worked. you have lifetime now, check your profile

      • Mine did too after I cancelled the IOS subscription, but then the next day it popped up a message when I opened the app to say free lifetime.
I logged into my account from Windows and it says:
        Endel subscription
        Lifetime subscription
Subscription works on all devices supported by Endel: mobile, desktop, wearable, voice.

      • That tripped me up too. If you go to “manage account” it should show lifetime. There’s no indicator on the referral screen that you’ve scored lifetime, and the option does disappear.

    • go to manage subscription, it will redirect you to a webpage which says your account has a lifetime subscription. i’ve just checked.

    • Actually correction. After looking a bit more into it, looks like my lifetime sub kicked in on its own and didn’t need to click it myself hence why it’s no longer showing up as it’s already applied.. it does say under “Manage Subscription” the subscription type as “lifetime subscription”. I guess it was just a little confusing at the end as it didn’t let me click on “Lifetime Subscription” , nothing happened when I clicked on it but it did get applied by the looks. So this still works.

  • Awesome freebie thanks!

I registered with my Apple ID but that's going to be annoying. Can't see a way to change my account to regular email login.

    • +1

Sign out, sign up using “regular email” repeat the steps, 2 free accounts

  • Ok. Done all the steps with 6 accounts but still saying trial account. Will wait a day to see if that changes

    • I still get Subscription Expires in 1 week

      So probably over

  • +1

    Hi all,

It is not sending me any notifications or any updates on who used the link, probably because it is a generic link, without any referral code at the end.
Just curious to know if, as of the 3rd of October, has anyone been able to redeem this offer.

  • Didnt read the part about not working on android :/

  • Anyone else have this reneg?
Had the lifetime subscription activated, updated the app and it signed me out. Now signing back in it says I don't have any active subscriptions to restore!

    • +1

@chrislinke I had the same thing happen, click the x and then sign in with email. You can check your account in the web page sign in to make sure it still says lifetime.

  • Looks like the figured out we played them. My subscription has been withdrawn, and they now only offer a 50% discount for referring people.

  • Lost mine also
