Bring it down to 500 including shipping.

Samsung said in a statement today that rumour was false. http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-calls-bs-galaxy-s4-rum…

    • +22

Galaxy S5 is coming after that, so prices will drop again soon after that too.

        • +8

Because it was a rumor and Samsung said was false, yet you still post it as it's a fact.

        • +16

Behead all those who insult the Samsung.

        • Comment edited out of fear of reprisals…

        • That's because you're a bit of a troll.

        • What makes you think the S4 will come in Feb when every Galaxy S has consistently released about the June/July mark?

    • Look forward to reading your comments about holding off on the i5 for the i6, oops i mean i5s. Quick did you see there is a post about PS3 better tell them to hold off for the PS4

  • +2

eBay will do a group deal soon, so let's see.

    $450 is very possible.

    • Yeah the WR is Kogans $478 shipped deal. $450 shipped shouldn't be too far away now, what with the iP5 and the 4GS3 hitting the shelves this week.

Why does DHL/Fedex shipping from another continent to Australia cost less than shipping within the same country?

    • -3

      1) GST
      2) Carbon tax

    • +3

because it's an Australian tax. Everything becomes magically expensive when it touches our shores.

  • -4

Mate you should add "only blue colour" to the description / heading. Its not a deal if its not for white colour..

BE AWARE: THEY ARE SHIPPING IT FROM THE MOON

I ordered a memory card from them and 8 days after receiving the 'dispatched' email I'm still waiting for it.

    Will avoid them next time…

    • +2

They are sent on a camels back

    • +3

By the time you receive your S III, SS will be peddling the S IV.

    • I will never order from these mobs again. I still haven't receive the phone I ordered 3 Weeks ago, and they said they use FedEx/DHL. Google "shoppingsquare review" you will find heaps of bad reviews on shipping time, no contact phone number and bad service.

      • +2

They use DHL/FedEx alright. Once they actually decide to ship the item…

    • they were using pigeons outsourced from china probably and got captured/cooked.

    • +2

I've had a similar experience with their shipping I would stay away personally, had a better experience with kogan. I'd pay more for peace of mind :)

  • Can our friends and fierce rivals of ShopingSquare, ShoppingExpress, do us a better deal?

We know you're reading this! :)

  • +8

$38.95 shipping? Are they using the Royal Carriage?

  • Given there is local 1 yr warranty instead of standard samsung 2 yr warranty, I assume this is an import model and not Oz stock?
    Can someone please confirm?
    (sorry if noob q)

    • That is correct, they call it direct shipping offer.

One of my friends went from iPhone 3GS to Samsung Galaxy S3 recently. Despite that I told her how long and wonderful iPhone 5 is.
    I have one less iPhone friends… :(

I dnt have good experience with this seller, i purchased 2xUSBs more than a month ago and i am still waiting for those…. First got sent back to seller because of some unknown reason even Auspost dnt know the reason.

And so samsung warranty, their own warrenty.

No Contact number at all. So if u want to communicate, just create a ticket with takes 24hrs to get answer, then u reply and wait for next day.

I personally will not buy anything from them and will not recommend anyone else.

    • +3

I'm with you. Rather spent more elsewhere than all the frustration with bad service and slow to communicate.

        • +3

I reckon after service is important, whats the point of saving 30-40 dollars if you have to jump through so many hoops like OP and ferndale said, not worth the saving.

        • +4

Doesn't mean u need to take neg the deal.. A deal is a deal…
If u have had a bad experience with the seller, warn others (which we very much appreciate!)

Actually, it's a perfectly legitimate reason to neg, and well within the guidelines of what negative votes are for - to warn other members about problems encountered when dealing with a seller. Without the negative vote, such warnings may be overlooked if buried amongst a lot of other comments.

        • Spot on Geewhizz. I thought the deal is good too, but if I dont mark a red negative flag, everyone will think they are not only getting a good deal but also dealing with a good reputable company. When I look through OzBargain, I particularly pay more attention to the one with the red mark, read the comments and decide to take a chance or not.

        • +1

It's not a deal when u receive it a month later and the product has dropped in price across the board, service is a big part of a deal and my experience with shopsquare hasn't been good specially shipping!!

  • +1

Ahilen, i read reviews of some other people faced the same issue for this seller. Deal is indeed a deal, here is another one. It was a bit expensive than this one but there is a contact number of company plus 2y Samsung Warranty

    http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/80080 , Galaxy S iii $529

I purchased couple of thing from that seller and delivery time and handling was fantastic.

  • +2

very tempted to buy this but due to what everyones saying about the shipping, by the time i get this the price would have dropped to this anyway - with the note 2 and the S3 4g on their way

    • by the time i get this the price would have dropped to this anyway -

Why do you think their shipping takes so long.

  • +1

Shopping Square are the worst…terrible service and experiences there. Kogan aren't that far off either; sent international stocked SGS3 without an AU charger. Took them 2-3 weeks to resolved my problem. Nice one Kogan!

  • +1

thanks for the heads up everyone I will avoid them for sure…nothing i hate more than lack of communication like TINYDEAL !

  • better to wait for the e-bay deal

  • even cotd are faster than shopping square

  • I remember ordering my S2 last year. Worst online experience…..shipping took almost 1 month and a bit.

    Please stay away

  • I am still waiting for my purchased items, i repaid the shipping fee to them and still didn't get any update that Items are shipped.

  • I have gone on a personal vendetta against this mob.

Purchased Asus EEE Slate on the 13th of September and all I have so far is a "Confirmed Payment" status.

No reply to etickets nor any response via Paypal Dispute.

    Idiots.
