  • Wow. If anyone want to buy, be sure you check that sizing!

    • I was about to say, when I searched on Google, websites are showing as USD, so this might be in US sizing charts, not based on AU sizing charts

Edit ah too much time stuffing around with file upload

Yeah my bad. But good work team. Looks like we all on the same wavelength haha

Cheaper elsewhere as mentioned above. No bargain here, neg.

  • +2

OzB doesn't like expensive drop-shippers. Cheaper elsewhere

Company is 4 weeks old, let's see how long it sticks around…

  • +2

I hope non OzBargainers don't fall for this dropship markup

  • +2

MUCH cheaper price elsewhere as per above comments (Aliexpress). Nice try OP, but nothing gets past the OzB detectives it seems.

I appreciate all the kind comments and feedbacks here. Thank you all.
I can see the detectives are doing a good work here, maybe they are after freebies? :) but I encourage you try running a business and see how it goes?
Of course you can find cheaper price on the net, in fact you can find the supplier of any product you buy online or in store, and get it way much cheaper.
Maybe buy everything from AliExpress??? But I assure you we are not sourcing our products from AliExpress.
Thank you all for supporting our small business.

As cruel as this may sound, but we're not here to help you grow your business. This is a bargain website. Plain and simple.

    • +6

Came to the wrong site if you just want to advertise

    • +5

      maybe they are after freebies?

What?? No one is after freebies, we are happy to pay if it represents a good deal, we are after the best deal, we are looking for "bargains". That's why it's called "OzBargain" and not OzAdvertising. We are not your captive spam recipients.

I encourage you try running a business and see how it goes?

Oh, cry me a river. You think you are the only person in the world running a business? Plenty of other people who run businesses post deals here and are well received by the community, but then again, if they have a bad deal, they get on with finding out how to be better and come back stronger. What they don't do is guilt trip site users.

Of course you can find cheaper price on the net…

So, you're not the cheapest and we can get it elsewhere cheaper? The very definition of "not a bargain".

      Maybe buy everything from AliExpress???

What, like you do? So we can bypass your dropshitting markup prices? Sounds good.

I assure you we are not sourcing our products from AliExpress…

Lol, yeah, ok, champ. "Me either…" ;)

Negging because I really have a dislike for retailers that play the "poor me" card and blame users for their failed attempts to post.

Let's keep the discussion positive and productive!

          Lol. You're not a mod.

You say you "value input", but then shut it down by putting the "positive" caveat on it. "Say anything you like, so long as it's positive…"

Not how the real world works, champ.

And just a heads up, if you continue down this path and start getting angry with users because they won't just heap glowing praise on your post, you are going to do irreparable damage to your brand.

@pegaxs: I'm totally cool with everything, but I'm still a bit unsure about what exactly you're suggesting here. 😊

We already gave it to you. This is GOLD. Read the room.

          1. This is not a bargain, its been proven identical item is cheaper elsewhere
          2. You are using stock images for the same dress from the very place you ordered your stock and applying a massive markup
          3. Don't tell us how we should or shouldn't respond to your posts. You are not in control of what we say.

You have a rather unprofessional response above :)

@cute as duck: Wouldn't surprise me if it was true that they aren't sourcing from Aliexpress - I'm sure these could be shipped in from elsewhere too. Doesn't really change anything though

          • -3

@cute as duck: This is a deal because, unlike those other places where you have to drop $150 for free shipping, we don't play that game! And again we're not getting our stuff from AliExpress, that is not a reliable supplier. So, that whole 'massive markup' thing? Not true at all! Oh, and by the way, I never told anyone what to say or anything. About the image, stock images might look alike, but I'm pretty sure our quality is way better.

            • @AylaBoutique:

              This is a deal

No, it isnt. It is advertising. A very different thing.

unlike those other places where you have to drop $150 for free shipping,

Oh, grow up. Almost everything on AliExpress is free shipping. You don't need to spend $150 to get free shipping. You didn't want to drop that other marketing nugget??? The "BuT iT tAkEz 8 WeEkZ tO gEt AnYtHiNg fRoM aLiExPrEsS" line.

again we're not getting our stuff from AliExpress

              Alibaba then, potato, potato.

that whole 'massive markup' thing? Not true at all

Yours is normally $100, the same thing from AliExpress is $27.56. it's a $70 price mark up for the same item at retail price… That is more than DOUBLE (almost triple), and you would be buying these buy the box full off "Not-AliExpress", so you are probably paying under $10 each for them…

I never told anyone what to say or anything

You literally said to "keep it positive and constructive". You are telling people that you only want to hear positive comments and feedback. You even omit in your statement that you are receptive to negative feedback, and I would hazard a guess that anything that isn't positive you would deem as not being "constructive".

You have received plenty of constructive feedback on this post, but you are still trying to vigorously defend your position.

You post is not a "bargain" (Cheaper elsewhere)
You are aggressively engaging users (Brand damage)
You are dictating the terms of what feedback you want/willing to receive (Again, brand damage)
You are using "emotional guilt tripping" to justify your position. (Also not good for your brand image)
You are rejecting all feedback with what you deem as justifications for what you are doing (Gaslighting)
You are trying to shame users who question your "bargain" by calling them "detectives" (Gaslighting)

My suggestion is, go back to the drawing board. Hire a professional PR firm to handle your social communications, someone that isn't emotionally attached to this "business". Re-invent yourself, take on what the community considers a "bargain" and have another go. Take a look at some of the successful businesses that post here and see how they do it and how they handle dealing with questions and criticisms.

You know, or just hit the nuclear option button, like so many others do.

About the image, stock images might look alike

Alike? They are the same and I repeat, the same image with the Liz Hurley look-alike for an identical product at yours for 3-5 times cheaper???

This is a deal because, unlike those other places where you have to drop $150 for free shipping

Face-palm. Shipping is built into your price. And shouldn't even be considered since you are still incredibly expensive whether shipping is free or otherwise.

        • +3

Our aim is to provide great deals to our community

I would start off with a deal.

    • +3

      It’s ozbargain not ozadvertising

    • +4

But I assure you we are not sourcing our products from AliExpress.

But you are still buying them for cheap from China and selling them at least 4-5x the price as a middleman to profit. That's not a business strategy that is welcomed here.

Of course that's how all retail works, but you haven't given anyone anyone a valid reason to pay 4-5 times more to buy from you than order from China direct.

If you were selling them for a more reasonable $25-30 and your USP was locally available stock with next day delivery… Well that's a completely different value proposition. But since you state 7 to 15 days delivery AFTER 2-5 business days dispatch time, then you're clearly dropshipping them anyway.

    Cheaper elsewhere
