does any one know if this model is compatible with pc?

You'd be looking for a USB wired version of the controller.

To use this wireless version, you need to buy the accessory dongle.. It costs $17-20 dollars for the dongle alone, so you might as well buy the wired controller.

      edit:

Here's one that's PC compatible and comes with the USB receiver:

And here is one that is wired:

Deal Extreme have one ($11 delivered) that is very popular on Whirlpool…I bought one myself, and it works perfectly:

      • yeah the one for 39 seems pretty reasonable, so much more comfortable than using a keyboard and mouse

      • is mighty ape a trusted dealer?
been reading on whirlpool, they seem kinda dodgy lol
wondering if youve maybe ordered from them before

        • I have bought from them a few times. No problems.

    • i'm after that answer too… thinking of buying it for my pc if it's compatible since i don't like using my ps3 controller on pc.

  • Anyone interested in a controller for P.C should check out the Logitech 710.
I only play motor racing games and loved using mine before i got my G27 wheel.

Prices can vary between say $60 and $35ish on a Logitech sale.

    They kick bum imo.

    • The Xbox controller can't be beaten, every button is analogue, the Logitech's only have analogue triggers and joysticks. Also if the game is GFWL then it is pre-mapped.

I bought two more (with dongle) from MightyApe a few months ago for $35 each delivered.

    • If you're playing GFWL games (like Dark Souls Prepare to Die) its better to play using the genuine 360 controller — there is no need to reconfigure and rebind buttons.

There used to be a Xbox 360 controller emulator that tricks Windows into thinking the controller you're using is an Xbox controller, but I think the project stopped being updated in August 2011.
