3 because i wanted to goto Japan

  • +16

I wish I never got any.
But to fly overseas I got 2 shots. I will not get any more.
Who knows what negative effects it will have on me in the long run
    We are the test subjects

  • +11

I had 2 vaccines (first 1 was in November 2021 being 36 weeks pregnant and getting a lecture at every hospital appointment)

Had the 2nd vaccine last year in April due to going overseas.

Will I ever have another Covid vaccine? HELL NO!
Only because I had a stillbirth in July and when I got results last Thursday to know the cause they said they don’t know what caused it!

    • +3

There are many things that could cause a stillbirth and it's not always possible to know what causes a stillbirth…

Why wouldn't they list vaccines as a potential cause, when they are now routinely offered & given to pregnant women, & they cause immune stimulation which could lead to reactions like fever or illness?

See, one has to think about what articles like that do not say.

    • +3

      our healthcare system is sick

    • +10

I had a friend whose wife had a still birth even before Covid came along. They didn’t know what happened then either. Coincidence doesn’t mean causality.

However, I can see this would be a distressing time for you. My condolences on your loss.

      • +4

I had a friend whose wife had a still birth even before Covid came along. They didn’t know what happened then either.

Consider asking your friend if his wife got a vaccine or vaccines during pregnancy & if it was temporally associated with her loss.

        • I think scientists would’ve uncovered that link by now and stopped pregnant women having vaccinations. After all they ask them to stop eating soft cheeses. Nature just spontaneously aborts sometimes. It is tragic but not that uncommon.

          • +5

@try2bhelpful: The denial of vaccine harm is too strong I'm afraid. It's look the other way for most medical professionals. If you don't want to ask your friend because it's not your place or feel it's inappropriate, that's fine.

            • @mrdean: Yes, because they’ve “got to” the millions of medical professionals and scientists around the world. When the case is compelling the science comes out. Nothing is ever entirely safe but there is much more upside than downside to the vaccination process.

              • +3

                @try2bhelpful:

Yes, because they’ve “got to” the millions of medical professionals and scientists around the world.

Not at all. You see, it is you coming to that conclusion, using it as a strawman to discredit those who don't hold the same views as you. And as a denial to what is evident if one just looks & listens.

                • +1

@mrdean: I’m happy for people to hold a different view provided they have the scientific facts behind their arguments. There are people who are negatively affected by the vaccines, that is a point I’ve already conceded, the issue is around the balance of positive vs negative. That is where we look at the statistics and the science.

              • @try2bhelpful: Take your own advice. ( your talking to a wall of anti-science pus)

              • +2

                @try2bhelpful:

Yes, because they’ve “got to” the millions of medical professionals and scientists around the world.

How do you think this works? You think every medical professional is independently verifying safety data?
How it actually works in the people that make this shit fund the studies to "prove" it's safe. A small group of institutions set recommendations which many other institutions then adopt/parrot, pointing back to the corporate studies. It gets down to ordinary health care staff which are trained on what their protocols and policies are department-wide. The entire system is a chain of trust in greater authorities with very little verification and the ultimate authority being the people that benefit from it being considered safe.

        • Yes, consider re-traumatising her so some 'challenged' individuals online can scrape some cred off the bottom of the septic tank.

    • So of all the possibilities, including genetics, environmental and lifestyle it was the covid vaccine?
      Who needs science?

  • +2

cant tell if this is the usual bait or troll post, but you can get 9 shots???

  • +2

I've had three (the two initial and one booster). I experienced really bad headaches after the booster so I'm not rushing back for more.

I've had COVID twice since that I am aware of. The first time I was fairly unwell for three or four days and the second time I wouldn't of even known unless I tested (I had a heap of tests laying around).

  • +3

I know people who legit really got 6-7 shots though, amazingly they’re all still alive.

    • +5

I bet they are the types that have a mask on whilst driving, ALONE.

    • -1

That shouldn't really be all that surprising. The vast majority of both covid infected and vaccine recipients won't experience extreme short term fatality.

  • -1

Had 5. Will get new ones whenever I can.

  • +12

Pfizer was pushed on vaccine safety in Senate hearings not long ago and they admitted that they had no idea why the vaccine can cause myocarditis. When Moderna was pushed about vaccine safety, they also admitted that they don't have any plan to help pay for vaccine injury. Meanwhile, the Biden administration was asked why it suggested Covid boosters every two months and they could not produce a single document of evidence.

It is unfortunate that the burden of the research falls upon us and we can't blindly support bio-pharmaceutical companies. In a capitalist world where private companies will work in their best interests to push profit margins and not work the people's best interest. We are living, capitalism with corporate minded rules in this cruel world. Can't blame them as Australia has broken system and very dysfunctional.

Those private organisations took advantage and that's why a serious inquiry is important to hold them accountable. People pushing for vaccine hides the side effects to not scare people away and the people against will not dare to talk about the benefits cause its contradictory to their agenda.

We all expected to hear this news. Public deserves to know. Truth would eventually be told. Since day one, I already projected what's going to happen, Government and other major business companies have strong power to influence and dictate the system. We have been forced to succumbed to this.

    • +2

      Too true!

    • +7

And on that subject, and just for funsies.

      https://tinyurl.com/yjrp9dh5

So, here’s what you might have learned over the weekend if you ventured into the thickets of alt news:

In April and May of 2021, the president (“Joe Biden”), the whole White House Covid Response Team (Andy Slavitt & Co), and everyone in the White House communications office, the US Surgeon General (Vivek Murthy), senior officials of the CDC including director Rochelle Walensky, Francis Collins, head of NIH, and Dr. Anthony Fauci of NIAID were all freaking out, holding crisis meetings, and sending blizzards of emails among each other after being informed by a Pfizer safety report that the miraculous new mRNA Covid vaccines produced significant cases of myocarditis and blood-clotting abnormalities.

All these officials proceeded to craft a campaign to tell the public that this myocarditis was mild, extremely rare, and self-resolving (it wasn’t), and urged all Americans over twelve to keep taking the vaxx shots. Later, they expanded the vaccine program to include children down to six months old.

By 2022, all of US public health officialdom had to know that the vaxxes were also ineffective at preventing infection and transmission of Covid.

Her replacement, Mandy K. Cohen, is still pushing the latest mRNA booster shots in the face of reports (mainly from the UK and other foreign countries) of a shocking rise in all-causes deaths and disabilities from heart and blood disease, neurological injury, and cancers. The CDC refused this month to release updated information on case numbers of myocarditis and pericarditis in the USA.

The record of those frantic 2021 doings in the White House and the CDC came from a document dump prompted by a FOIA request by Edward Berkovich, a lawyer associated with Naomi Wolf’s Daily Clout news organization.

    • +4

you are spot on, and unfortunately people conducting any inquiry will have ties to those compaines already

      • -1

No, surely not another conspiracy theory. In this thread of all places. Shocked to be here.

  • +2

    Or another option:

"Didn't because so many are DYING SUDDENLY"
    🤔😂🤣🖕

  • I've been rabidly collecting vaccines, with a bit more effort I might get to 69… it's done me no harm, in fact I now don't need a mobile phone. What a BONUS…. I can even get reception on all carriers! Given my personal anecdote, no doubt I've convinced all those anti-vax, self made researchers…

  • -6

I’m on 5 or 6, I got Covid once really mildly.
Will be getting my next booster when I’m able to.
Some real tin foil hat parades on here. Had no idea!

    • Tin foil, enhances my COVID reception… oops I mean enhanced 5G coverage

  • 4 shots, had COVID twice. The first time I was completely asymptomatic as it was shortly after my 3rd dose, 2nd time, I was incredibly sick although it was 6 months after my 4th dose.

  • +21

ZERO AND SO HAPPY I DIDN'T CAVE

  • +8

Had zero. I think I got covid once in all this time. Not sure it was though. Had way worse head colds.

  • +6

Zero, and I'm not even sure I had COVID…

    • You probably did, just without symptoms.

  • -3

With Covid not even a thought on anyone's minds anymore this thread sure ignited the anti-vaxxers.

    • +1

And born again scientists- a big heap of whom claim god created the earth. Go figure.
It's a very cosy fence for the intellectually timid

    • +5

Huh? It's still simmering away in the background and of course there's always a 'new variant' that needs a 'new vaccine' (had to laugh at the latest one that is 33 mutations removed from the first one. This stuff writes itself.) And the establishment have been pumping plandemic 2.0 for the last couple of months. I wonder how many will fall for it this time? There's always WWIII to fall back on if their last operation woke too many people up. :)

  • -1

All these ppl speculating about the vaccine with science underpinning it and yet where's the noise on prescribed burn & bushfire smoke that is filling EVERYONES (not just vaccinated ppl ) with known carcinogenic particles.
And add to that the cumulative effect stockpiling those carcinogens every year.

    Nothing to see here?

    • +4

So how did you connect those two things? Are they working on a vaccine for bushfires now?

      • Connect them yourself. I'm not your 'boy'

        • +6

          No.

If it made the slightest bit of sense I wouldn't have needed to ask for your explanation.

          • -1

@EightImmortals: You and all the other cookers are whinging from a base of shrill desperation about a chosen conspiracy while your precious lungs suck up cancer particles 6 months of the year and yet not a single peep.

If you are are slightly worried about catching a mortal vaccine disease by way of other ppl getting it, then you should be informing yourself of the real and active threat in your daily life. But hey, I'm sure God gave you a special set of special lungs to ride it out.

The fire industry is vaccinating you and most of built up Australia as we speak. Spring/summer/autumn.

        • +3

Acts like a petulant child and then doesn’t wanna be called a boy. Whatever kiddo.
What’s next, you’ll throw some more insults around? Hahaha

    • -4

Most major bush fires in Australia are caused by environmentalists intentionally starting them.

      • So your lies are not confined to one thread - no surprises there I guess.

        • -2

183 people arrested for arson and 24 for intentionally setting fires during just one single 4 week bush-fire season…… in just New South Wales:

          https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw-fires-legal-action-taken…

          • @infinite: where in that article was "caused by environmentalists intentionally starting them" listed?

Of the 24, in that list we can all agree they are absolutely terrible people. I'm unsure that therefore makes then environmentalists.
I know its cool to blame hippy tree huggers for everything, but blanket made up statements just make you look uninformed and/or wrong (well, more than your usual statements do anyway)

Alternate articles list information such as "According to a 2004 Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) report, many arsonists are loners and suffer from mental illness."
again, this doesn't support your 'caused by environmentalists' line

            Perhaps you meant to write
Most (i'll go with many unless you can find a statistical report to indicate otherwise) major bush fires in Australia are caused by "absolute a-holes with clear societal or mental issues" intentionally starting them.

  • +1

    I got 2 vax + booster.

I am down with Covid now, isolating myself, working from home… Mainly because i have a kid who is appearing for some exams soon.

Caught covid for the first time. Its more like a normal flu, feeling a bit tired. I am doing RAT test pretty much every other day but still showing positive. Looks like the virus lingers for a while…. Bloody little creepy things…..

    • +1

Do you believe you would of been worse off without the jabs?

      • +1

They would have been perfectly fine regardless of if they got it or not unless they're 80+ with other comorbidities just like the flu.

        • +1

Yeah, I agree, but a lot of people I've come across who got covid post jabs thank science because they think without the jab it would of been much worse.

        • +1

And all those who were <80yo with and without other comorbidities and died were all actors right?

  • +7

2x Pfizer and was in bed for 2 days after the second vaccine. Will not be getting anymore.

    • +2

Were you keen on the shots to begin with, or were you coerced into them?

      • +3

50/50 at the time - however I wasn’t allowed to work if I didn’t get it. In the past when I have had the flu shot I have gotten sick, though not as bad as my reaction to Pfizer vaccine.

I wouldn’t call myself anti-vax, however I am definitely anti-Covid vax for general pop. I would only be getting another shot if I had some serious underlying health conditions, elderly, etc and felt like I had nothing to lose. (Same goes for annual Flu shot)

Trying to be physically healthy by exercising and watching what I eat is a better defence than being overweight and having my vax IMO. Each to their own however. If people want to keep getting their vaccines that is their prerogative, as long as they don’t force it on me.

Also, I did get Delta around 9 months after second shot. I had exact same symptoms as cousin who had had 3 shots. I would say it was slightly milder than my reaction to second shot. I realise that is completely anecdotal, however that is my experience.

        • +2

If people want to keep getting their vaccines that is their prerogative, as long as they don’t force it on me.

          Agree 100%.

Thanks for sharing your story. All the best,

  • +4

I had a Pfidernazeneca vaccine. Two days later one of my neighbours chooks mysteriously died and my uncles car blew a rear left tyre. No more vaccines for me. I'm not stupid, I can see the link

    • +2

No mystery, the chook ended up in the oven after pecking holes in your uncles rear left tyre.

      • +1

Nah was definitely the vaccine. I heard the drums beating at night.

        • -2

You sure it wasn’t your boyfriend on his latest soy trip?

    • I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. There is definitely a link to Big Chicken corporations and tyre companies. All the politicians are in on it. Here's a YouTube link to a 82 min rant from some guy who has an online doctorate in plant decorating

  • +1

3 so far and every year anti-vaxxers tell me I'm about to drop dead from it. 2020 was wild for that. Also told multiple times a year that something in me would be 'switched on' or something but so far no improvement in my 5g. And for some reason, that highly specific end-of-times date keeps on passing by and nothing happens. Anyway, it keeps passionate and caring people distracted from the stuff that really matters so I guess the fossil fuel/plastics/saudi industries are super happy with their profit making contamination of everything we eat and breathe…

    • +1

every year anti-vaxxers tell me I'm about to drop dead from it

Wow, so mandates were pushed towards the populous using that exact narrative. No one came at you mate, it was the ones hesitating that were coerced by almost ever part of the establishment and their fellow men.

multiple times a year that something in me would be 'switched on' or something but so far no improvement in my 5g

Alright, sounds like something thats occurred frequently enough for you to point it out for us? So who said that stuff to you?

      • +2

probably some random troll on twitter that posted a meme and they took it personally

        • Na but no way he would lie about it and absolutely exaggerate his claims.
I am sure he’s just been busy and will reply with some receipts of actual people directly telling him all that stuff..

          • @Gervais fanboy: Oh you got me, I'm totally lying. I absolutely took time out of my day to completely lie for some unknown reason and make stuff up. The receipts are on pretty much every social media outlet but this crowd relies on the 24 hour news cycle amnesia to get away with their time-based claims not coming true.

            • @MessyG: lol all those words and mate couldn’t tell us about these ‘people’ that were telling him about some 5G nonsense…

If you are referring to something that exists in some obscure corners of the internet, then just say so.
Don’t deceitfully exaggerate like you did above. You made it seem like people were coming up to you or dm’ing you about that stuff. Absolute Charlatan.

            • @MessyG: People blatantly lie about Trump for no reason daily for the last 10 years or so, people do things for no reason all the time.

              • @Willy Beamish:

People blatantly lie about Trump for no reason daily for the last 10 years or so

                Which I'll agree is crazy…
Because he does enough crazy stuff openly that means no one needs to fabricate it

                • @SBOB: lol, Ofcos you have now selectively perked up.
@crow and @youfnc lied about me, not only you didn't call them out for it but you seemed to agree with them and yet here you are, the arbitrator of truth setting the record straight on the bad orange man. What would we do without you.

                  • @Gervais fanboy:

lied about me, not only you didn't call them out for it

Apologies, wasn't aware I was your defender.
Is this like the bodyguard movie where I'm meant to carry you and kick the evil hecklers out of the way?

                    • -1

@SBOB: lol, I wouldn’t even dream to have you be neutral when you are reacting to someone you don’t share you personal politics with.
Just said that you support lies.
And then you are that same fella, that pops up like a little pokemon when it comes to dissing others. It’s the irony of it, that’s all..

                        @Gervais fanboy:

"support" and "lies" would be your subjective take on what? me upvoting some random comment that you disagreed with?
I'll happily explain why i upvoted whatever comment made your feelings hurt.

I assume your talking about the Covid mask manufacturer's ?

  • There is one very simple reason I got vaccinated. If it is going to kill me then I want to go out with the sensible people. The idea of living in a world run by the anti vaxxers, the preppers and the RWNJs is just too horrific to contemplate. It is the same view I have with nuclear weapons. I live inner city so I will be a shadow on a wall rather than struggling with radiation poisoning.

Or, and this is a wild idea, the vaccination has a couple of issues, for a small number of people, and has allowed the majority to carry on by reducing the severity of symptoms of the disease. Just as living in the inner city gives me easy access to the CBD and tends to have the best amenities.

    • +4

There is one very simple reason I got vaccinated. If it is going to kill me then I want to go out with the sensible people.

Your reason is you drunk the cool-aid?

      • +1

No, the problem is they’ve drunk crates of the Kool Aid. Have a look where the expression came from.

    • +6

The "simple reason" that you gave is completely nonsensical. You'd rather die than live in a world populated by people that you deride as "nutjobs" even if said "nutjobs" turned out to be correct in their assessment of reality?

      • +2

Absolutely. Once I’m dead I stop suffering. If I have to deal with that mob the rest of my life will be suffering.

        • +3

Just wait til you find out death is the real life.

          • -1

@mrdean: As long as it isn’t run by the Preppers, Antivaxxers and conspiracy theorists.

          • @mrdean:

Just wait til you find out death is the real life.

Let me guess. You have a YouTube video from a scientist with a hot take on this view right?

        • +4

Rather die than admit you could have been wrong lol

          • @OzBarAnon: In the old days men provided and protected…now they want to top themselves rather than be in the wrong

Humanity is pretty much doomed. Maybe its best to help these people on their way if they want it so ba

      • -1

Except they were never 'correct' because we're all still here…

        • +1

It appears you are incapable of understanding what a hypothetical is

          • -1

@OzBarAnon: It appears they are incapable of understanding basic science as well, which is interesting given they made the laughable claim of being a healthcare worker.

    • -1

Or, and this is a wild idea, the vaccination has a couple of issues, for a small number of people

      https://www.tga.gov.au/news/covid-19-vaccine-safety-reports/…

Over 139,000 Australian's have suffered vaccine injuries, so far…………

So unbelievably damaging to the population, we have not one but three separate Vaxx compensation schemes, on top of the daily multi-million dollar court payouts.
