AirPods Pro (2nd Generation) with Magsafe Case (USB-C) $359.99 Delivered @ Costco (Membership Required)

350

Not a bad price considering the current RRP of $399.

$341.05 with OWPB thanks to @zoominguy however, I'll leave that out of the title as it appears YMMV.

Weather you love or hate Apple - you gotta admit, this is the best audio accessory on the market when it comes to in ear earphones.

Just buy a oneway ticket back to Munich…

Why is this guy voted down? I did hear the special chip was upgraded in the Pro 2 (USB-C edition) and it does do some kind of special audio with the vision pro, that also has the same chip.

      Yeah it's 6k

I work at Officeworks and can confirm internal policy is that membership based stores such as costco are eligible for price match. However there is insufficient training company wide hence the variation from store to store and staff to staff on price matches. Escalating to the manager on duty will usually yield positive results.

    • Any advice on how to solve that? Two stores, both managers adamant that Costco is not eligible and refused?

        Tell them you know @zoominguy

Apple did confirm for me in person that they price match large stores, up to 10%

Dunno if Costco counts, due to the membership fee?

If they did, you could buy for $359.1 from Apple and then apply 15% cards (assuming of course, you have some) which I think would end up being $305.23 AUD

Finally if you wait until Feb 2024 (ouch) the Apple Student store may list the new iPad Air 6 cheap (when it comes out soon, apparently) and then only $150 upgrade for the AirPod Pro 2's more. (This deal, I think has been done twice)

I just sold my Pro 1s (2 years old) to get rid of old batteries, still not sure if I'll replace em now. Very expensive and I have another pair of BT over head-headphones which are working and well "free" since I've already got em.

    • Hey sorry I am not too familiar with the Apple price matching process, but assuming they do a price match, is there a way I would be able to use my Apple Account balance? (I redeemed my apple gift cards a long time ago)

apple accepts 10% discount when you request a pm and if you want to use ur apple credits you need to make a phone call and do the price match via phone sale. Cannot use apple credit in store. Can do 10% off pm in store but need to check out with apple gc. What I have done for my ultra1 was pm via phone sale and paid with credits (from last time 15% off apple gc) and then chose to pick up at any apple store. The final price should be $305.99

        • I just called Apple support they would not PM, how did you get this to work?

      • I don't see why not but I suspect you're going to need to go in to the store to confirm the price match at a guess.

I sold my AirPod Pro 1s for $100 so this would only cost me $205 give or take (arguably) but still not sure anymore TBH. I loved the things but god it's a lot of money.

Cheaper than its competitors such as the XM5 and QC Ultra though.

    • They're REALLY damn good but I can't disagree they should be a bit cheaper, the competition are slowly improving and must be getting close by now.

I know Apple, they won't drop that price, they'll just release an AirPod Pro 3 next year with even more features / functions to ensure the price remains high.
(See also Xbox 360 for example, don't cancel the 20GB model, just make it 120GB but keep that RRP the same) - whatever it was, that kind of trick.

That's an opinion of yours and no matter if right or not, you don't seem to get we don't downvote on a whim like that.

I recommend spinfit superfine tips for these. They sit a little more nicely in the ear canal are a bit more grippy and don’t work themselves out of my ears when I’m chewing food.
