      • I just realised the time stamp is 1 hour late (not sure if it’s daylight savings or a different time zone). I completed the transaction at 11.59pm (so it’s pretty close to 12 midnight).

Based on what you say that it depends on when the payment is fully processed by the card, I guess 11.59pm is too close to 12 midnight. I might give Boost a call to cancel this order tomorrow morning.

  • Bought 10x using my+mrs detail, 2 diff cards, 5 purchases each. When I tried 6th it went something wrong. Only address is same everything else different.
Bought during 19:00-19:30, tracked 20:05 altogether.

  • Hi, I have not been active with coupon/promos/cash back for years so I'm a bit rusty.

I followed the deal link above a couple days ago and purchased the $35 pack for $12 from boost

Unfortunately I think I might have screwed up the cash back deal as I realize now I probably had to have a membership with the cash back site first to claim that? ..

    can someone please confirm this?
Thanks, ( anyway it's still as good deal)

    • You need to have an account with the respective cashback site (ShopBack in this case) so that when cashback tracks and clears, it’ll be paid back into your (ShopBack) account. Which then you’ll be able to take it back out into whatever account you nominate in the settings.

      • Ok thanks for confirming

    • Once I opened the link in incognito and forgot to sign in and proceeded with the purchase. Later, asked Boost customer care to cancel the order and they processed and issued a refund

  • still not tracked for me.

    • me too!
      bought 6 pm yesterday :|

    • I ordered a few times ytd at different timeframes and all had tracked within the hour
You might wanna reach out to @gotyourback after 2 days

    • me too.
      ordered last night.
      no track yet.

      • reckon that @gotyourback will manually add it for us tmrw?

        • Still not tracked
I will lodge a missing cashback request today in my account

          • @mkowarkski: yeah same,
but you know how shopback are
'sorry sorry u know how it is, blah blah, u used adblock, u did this, u did that, u (profanity) something up, too bad so sad'

            • @bohn: hmmm…
I recently did a purchase from Temu. It wasn't tracked! I lodged a request for that. They added the cashback to my account. The amount was not the total value that should be returned. So, I told them that there was x% cashback not y%! So, they added more. Glad it worked!
I have to do the same for this Boost Mobile crappy situation!

We have no other option anyways :)

              • @mkowarkski: The problem with this is, while it's added manually, Temu/merchant can turn around and say that it was untracked which leads to no payment months later :(

                • @geshc: OMG! Specially with Temu, I expect that to happen :|

Bought 6, all tracked with SB (a couple came through in the same email), 4 dispatch emails received. Edit: Now all 6 dispatch emails have arrived.

    • Yes, ignore HamBoi69's words.

    • I never recieved any dispatch emails

      • Never received too

        • Check your spam inbox

          • @Turd: Not in there either

            • @trixieb: What email provider? gmail? workmail? yahoo?

            • @trixieb: I find I only get dispatch emails if I use the same email address on my order as my Boost/TelstraID-registered email address.

Although I will admit even then it has been a little hit and miss recently.

              • @wavesgreen: I use the same email as my Telstra registration (my main number).
I haven't signed up with Boost yet and enter my details every time I buy/activate this.
Have bought over a dozen now and probably time to register/login with Boost

  • Bought on 3rd, cashback still not tracked & no dispatch email, only received order confirmation email. Can't register in app as it requires number to register so no way to contact them about my order. App not available on iOS app store outside AU so had to get apk on Android.

    • Just go to web chat and ask for tracking. You do not need to register

    Hey OZB Community,

Sorry to hear that not everyones Cashback has tracked. I'm working on rectifying this issue and will update everyone in this thread ASAP.

Thanks again for flagging this one!

    Cheers,

    SB Team.

    • Our SIM cards have not yet been tracked correctly after 20 days. I requested missing cashback and they are still in 'Calculating' status

    • Any update? Didn't track, filed missing cashback report, still shows calculating but only for $12 not $17!

      • @quebec @mkowarkski hey mates, the tracking has been updated on our end so any missing Cashback at this point is best resolved via your Missing Cashback claims. It's not abnormal for these claims to take a short while to be resolved as these need to be investigated individually. Once these claims are resolved, we'll be able to ensure the correct amount is tracked. Let me know via DM if you have any trouble with the claim once this is resolved, happy to take a closer look.

  • Has anyone successfully used this to recharge or has boost finally closed the loophole?

    • My sim was faulty, they first activated the new sim and then transferred but was super reluctant and only did it after i claimed that it is needed for work and a first response health worker and they said it is a one time exception. Normally they would just send out a new sim card and you wait a couple of days

    Anyone received their SIM?

    • No

    • Ordered 3. Currently only received 2.

  • Yes, received two sims.

  • One of the SIM that Boost Mobile has sent to me is not working! It says: This SIM is already in use! I never activated that. Any such experience!

The interesting point is that Boost Mobile customer service doesn't know anything about ShopBack and think that it is a third party retailer! It is very difficult to explain to them how things work!
    Very poor customer service!

    • ShopBack is basically a third party in this transaction, no reason for them to know anything about who they are or what they do. Boost CS is essentially Telstra CS, farmed out to an international call centre.

      • It is a third party, i.e. a partner, but not a third party retailer! They are different.
CS talk to you as you are doing fraud, whilst you have done everything valid and legit.
They have to extend their knowlege and serivce, so they at least know their partners and promotions

        • It's Telstra, they're not going to.
