Bonus $700 JB Hi-Fi Gift Card on $69/Month 120GB/Month 2 Years Telstra Mobile Plan @ JB Hi-Fi

180

this $69/month with 120gb deal works out to be just under $40/month with $700 gift card.
this deal really depends on whether you will use more than 120gb per month or not.
personally i dont use more than 30gb per month so this is way better deal for me compare to the previous deal here.

With WFH I barely use over 5gb a month now

this deal may not be for you then.

I agree, after thinking about it, I think this deal may not be the best for him

      • Yeah I slept after seeing this deal

    • but there are some people who use 100gb per month

      • which is fair, I am just curious about how they use it? Outside of using their main phone for data at home.

        • Maybe videographers/youtubers who find they upload faster via 5G.

Just ask, nowadays there is no 12 month plan anymore?

  • +1

2 year plan duration kills it.

    • Yes, but you'll be waiting 2 years for something better, so…

  • If I'm reading the CIS properly, you get $250 ($700 - $450 Max Voucher Repayment Fee) even when you cancel the plan straight away.

    • Also has below:

You’ll need to repay Telstra for any vouchers you received
when you purchased your plan. The Voucher Repayment Fee
(if applicable) is pro-rated, equal to the total amount of the
base voucher divided by 24 and multiplied by months (or
part months) remaining in your plan term.

  • Is it still possible to get further monthly discounts added via telstra chat?

    • Not possible with these upfront plans.

  • How much to early terminate these contracts?

this was $1200 over the weekend

I think the plan was $99 though?

      • Yes, but $99 plan only gets $800 now, not the previous $1200.

Also Telstra has discounted 300Gb plan at $75/month whereas JB is $99

  • I think the $69 plan from HN is the better plan, as you get the pixel 8 pro valued at $1700 instead of a $700 gift card.

Not sure what the market rate for the pixel 8 pro is but I'd think you could easily get $1400 if sealed brand new.
