I'm tempted to get a Pixel 8 Pro, but not sure which deal I should go with -
this one is definitely cheaper at $862.50, but can't be in a salaray package
this one will require $1,398 upfront, but is it still good when you include it in a salaray package with plus $77 anually?

Your plan also sound works to a certain extend - as I can buy Pixel 8 Pro at its full price without using my remaining $98 from last year, get the $400 and $169.99 which is $569.99, then get a Pixel watch 2 with $569.99+$98 ($667) credits for free then sell it right?
But I am not sure how much I can sell a brand new Pixel Watch 2 (sealed with original package)
Let's say I can sell it at $600, but I can also get a salary package at the $1699 full price with a saving of $479 ($556-$77) from Maxxia, so effectively, I can save $1079 plus get $100 store credit from Pixel watch 2?

I'm at the range of 55000 to 60000. Maxxia says a $1699 phone can save me ~$556 in tax with a membership cost $77 yearly

@Autonomic: Yep I can get almost the same discount via a salary package and selling a new pixel watch 2🤣, assuming selling a new watch isn't that hard
So it was like almost half a year after the release? I'm not sure if it's even worth doing a salady package like that lol
Just to let others know, I was already with optus on a $59 a month sim only plan (I know really bad value but oh well). And I contacted their online support for an upgrade and they've given me the Pixel 8 Pro on $66.6/Month for 24 months. No upfront cost.
