Been using this case for the past 18 months, can't recommend it enough.

    • +2

same here! However I ended up swapping out the radiator fans as the originals 'rattled' quite loudly when ramped up. Put some Noctua's on there, which are probably a bit louder overall but no more rattle.

    • +1

      Agreed.

Swapped fans for Arctic silent fans, been running for 12 months with no issue and minimal noise.

    • Can you comment on the length of the cables that come with the PSU? Are they shortened / specifically designed for the NR200P MAX, or standard length of a V850?

    • +1

This case is excellent, fits quiet a few 4090's, havent had an issue with mine.

      That was 1.5 years ago

Heat wise it’ll be ok with say 7800x3d and 4070/4080 ?

    • +1

I'm rocking a 5800X3D and just put in a 4090 (which is almost as big as the case lol).

Card sits at 22 idle, everything else is chilling between 30 - 50C. It's a great case.

      • Which model 4090

        • Picked up the PNY XLR8 from the Amazon price glitch, they refunded me the 10% after charging my card the full price.

Only had it a couple of days but I was playing Elden Ring and the fans didn't even turn on at full settings on 5440x1440…

It fits snugly and required removing the bottom rails of the case (which is easy to do). Some bigger cards fit but I wouldn't want to try to go much bigger.

  • I adore mine, easiest setup ever. Best case I've ever owned. It comes with both a tempered glass panel and regular panel. I bought two slim Noctua fans and attached them to the bottom. AIO and Noctuas set to outflow.

  • Is there anything you need to keep in mind when "building" a PC using this case/form factor?

    • +5

Face your side window against a wall so you don't have to deal with cable management

      • TRUE

Also, buy 2 packs of zip ties. Depending on the mobo, cables can get caught with fans if not tied down correctly.

    • +8

The absurd pricing on mini ITX Mobos.

    • +3

Making sure your components physically fit

    • +4

      This'll depend on how small of a m-ITX build you're going for - this case is 18L I believe, some cases go down to 5-8L which are pretty crazy. Some considerations (I'm sure I'm missing some);

      • Check what your case can and can't fit; you'll have to consider things like GPU length, slots, etc. May have to factor in RAM clearance/height for the CPU cooler. The smallest cases will only take low profile GPUs.

      • Thermals are always going to be interesting when building small, so you'll need to do research as to how others have configured their cases for the best airflow

      • Mini ITX is generally much more expensive; far from the best value-wise. You really need to consider whether you even need a mini ITX build in the first place, or if you can get away with a bigger build which will be cheaper and most likely perform better.

      • Depending on your skill level, building in a small, confined and cramped space can prove significantly more difficult than larger builds. Fortunately there are plenty of build guides and helpful peeps on Reddit and YT

    • +1

A larger case is way easier, you have the choice of more components, the cooling can be significantly better, and the total build will probably be cheaper.
Unless you have some particular space challenge, then you've got to really want a tiny build for some reason…

      • And there's some matx out there that gets pretty close while still fitting full matx boards. My silverstein ps15 was one these, despite the psu size limitations

    • If you intend to populate the 2.5 SSD drives in the future, run the cables and plug them into your motherboard. Makes adding them in later easy.

  • Great deal, shame the color is not that nice.

Was a dream to build in the h1 V2 but it's loud as hell. Keen for more all in one cases to come out

  • Decent price on the single am4 motherboard they have. $209.

  • Have this with Intel i5 13600k

    • What are your temps like whilst gaming?

      • 32 degrees but i dont game. Heavy netflix, web users and some photography.

        • That’s basically idle

        • DUUUUDE. That's a lazy CPU that needs to be put to some real work.

Once you go mitx, you can't really go back.

Someone mention it only makes sense for the space constrained, and I more or less agree. But being a pc builder for years now, the challenge and satisfaction from putting together a mitx build is just way more gratifying. I contemplated going back to a traditional atx setup but just couldn't get myself to do it.

I had a nr200p for the better part of 3yrs, but once I took the leap to am5, I decided to downsize even further and got myself a fractal Terra and formd t1 and surprisingly found myself more drawn to the Terra because the wood panel actually works so well with my workspace aesthetic. The formd t1 was built much better but I couldn't dig the server look.

    • +1

I’m always thrilled by how itx can use space effectively compared to atx. I personally think that atx is only good when custom cool cuz u can utilize the space it takes and make good of the airflow.

      • +1

Actually for some, part of the fun is fitting a custom water loop in a mitx setup. In fact, it's probably the way to go if you have the know how. Some waterblocks these days take up less space than an air cooler.

I'm sure you guys have heard of the legendary optimumtech on YouTube. He's a fellow Australian that's pushing the envelope with what you can do with mitx set-ups. The quality of his content is top notch, check him out if you haven't already.

        • Haha yep I do love his videos. Custom loop gives much more potential to itx too. The tiniest pc I saw by now is 5L with 7950x3d + 4090

  • +1

Good case, seriously needs a refresh with latest i/o and some compatibility upgrades for newer hardware.

    • agree, and some more colour options like NR200 would be ace too

  • Great case, installed two extra noctua slims at the bottom.
Watch some vids on exhaust setup too It depends what side panel you want to use.

  • Great case!

  • Waiting for BPC, Techfast or Nebula to come out with budget PC using this case… :) UPVOTE if you like this idea.

The previous popular deal seems to be back in stock.

Was looking at the Fractal Terra and now I can't get this out of my head. Just so much better value for money wise.

Not bad bundle discount but not massively amazing either… Quick comparison:

      $139 - NR200P MAX Mini ITX Case
      $109 - MasterLiquid ML240L
      $220 - V850 SFX Gold

      $470 - Total RRP.

      • +3

This does have a 280mm AIO though.

        • Yep fair enough. Add another ~$50 which brings it back up to the $529 full kit RRP.

    • +1

Does it come with both glass and mesh side panels?

    • The terra is all aesthetics, not much in the space of CPU cooling. As much as I love the terra this will beat it hands down for PC cooling.

      • Agree, I am running an SSUPD right now and it's great. No reason to "upgrade" but just can't get the look out of my head!

      • +2

They are almost in a different category. Terra is 10.4 liters and NR200 is 18.25 liters.

        • That's right. I'm bringing to light the cooling aspect of the cases

        • You have to have some serious space challenges if you can fit a 10l case but you don't have room for the 18l case !

    • +1

      Was $369 at pccg before.

      • +2

        keyword: before.

    • +1

I have one of these. They come with cabling all prerun, is a very easy and good looking build.

Can recommend. Airflow is really good, does not get overly hot and I'm running 7800x3d with a 6800XT at full frames.

    • Bought this recently, the case is pretty well built.

  • I'm keen to go even more compact, like with a Formd T1 case. It doesn't come in a bundle so will need to follow online guides, Optimum for example.

  • Out of stock. Sadge :(
