  How big is this case, particularly the inside dimensions?

  Pelican cases come in all sizes from large briefcase down to smallish lunchbox.

        Thanks, internal dimensions about the same as a small to average lunchbox.

        Big enough for some camera zoom lenses, up to maybe 62mm filter size, and still have some padding. Smaller size if you want to include a petal hood.

    Depends on the scope, my 10x18 won't, especially if I leave the laser or NV ring + batt pack attached.
