So they've upped the shipping cost to 165euro but I still think the TV is worth it, once VAT is taken off you will pay €461.35 + €165.01 = $777 aud using 28degree card. I also bought the wifi dongle for $30 so all up $800 for a smart 46" TV is not bad at all!

its still 549 but VAT comes off, it doesnt come with glasses though, they are 50euro, not cheap!

I Bought one before they increased the shipping cost, I can confirm that its a very good TV. I love the upscaling feature for SD content and the USB media player copes fine with 1080p. Just a note It doesn't support the standard that SBS use in the digital tuner. Plenty of info in the other threads about it if you want to know more.
According to amazon they will refund you the shipping cost if you need to send it back under warranty, assuming nothing has changed since.

For the savings i'm not stressed about warranty and austar tuner will take care of lack of channel support

Can you then buy a digital tuner thingo and connect it via HDMI or some other way, just so that you can get the SBS channels? (Hmm I'm trying to see if this makes sense at all in my head or if I'm just talking rubbish - I'm losing that battle)

Great TV. Heaps better image than my old 50" LG plasma.
