Thanks to Price Hipster when I was looking at ladders a while ago. Looks like it hasn't had a price drop in a little while.

I ended up buying this instead at the time.

    I have a cathedral ceiling reaching a height of 7.2 meters. What would be the safest way to access the ceiling to change light bulbs?

          One of the included things in that pack is a suction cup based system for recessed lights. Pretty sure they use a string on one side of the suction cup so that you can peel the suction cup off once you've screwed the bulb in.

            @mken: I think it could work for GU10 if you had particularly sturdy fixtures so you could push hard and turn but its impossible for MR16 as you need to hold the connection manually with your other hand while plugging it in.

      Not bad, only used it a few times so far but seems solid enough and is fairly light to move around.
