No stock anywhere unless you bought at midnight

  • Would rather grab something like the Viofo A119 Mini 2.

@ people who understand these things.. which dashcam would you consider a good dashcam around $200?
Any tried and tested suggestions (including camera performance at night) would be appreciated. Thank you.

VIOFO A129 occasionally goes on sale for that price.

      • Thank you :)

We had 2 of this brand. They were really unreliable and very sensitive to the SD card. Also they are only 1080p so not really FHD today, maybe 5-6 years ago

      FHD is 1080p

    • For a premium brand they are rather average. I got a 2 channel Blackvue and the rear camera glitched out and stopped working. The main unit sometimes restarts itself when driving.

The only thing I like about it is the small form factor which allows it to sit behind the rearview mirror out of sight.

    • You need to only use really good sd cards of a suitable type. Ive had a few dashcams in my time (inc blackview) and that was the cause of almost all issues.

And SD cards in dashcams have a lifespan they will crap out sooner or later

Called Supercheap to see where the nearest in stock was and it's mostly regional Victoria

  • So Supercheap, don't tease everyone until you're going to please none.

  • Go the Viofo imo, better value and higher res if you can find a deal, 1080p is a bit average for number plates

    • the only thing I hate of Viofo is that I can't manually switch to parking mode.

  • Further 20% off with code SAVE20 which just popped up, 5PM to Midnight tonight. Takes the camera to $120 if you can find somewhere with stock.

Be good if they turned on the delivery option…!
